Surgery is one day. Recovery is a journey, and how you recover matters. 🤍
A transformation is about so much more than a before & after. It’s seeing the swelling settle, your shape and definition gradually return, your tissues soften, and slowly beginning to recognize yourself again.
And behind every recovery is a real person having good days, hard days, questions, worries and little wins along the way.
Because post-op care isn’t a protocol we copy and paste.
It’s hands-on. It’s personalized. It’s human.
Every surgery is different. Every body heals differently. And every recovery deserves to be treated that way.
HEAL • RECOVER • REHABILITATE
The Sculpt Bar Method — where we care for the person, not just the procedure. 🤍
Individual results and recovery timelines vary.
Post-operative care complements, and does not replace, your surgeon’s medical follow-up.

Sometimes, what feels like “weight” is actually puffiness. 💧
That heavy, swollen, less-defined feeling can sometimes be influenced by temporary fluid retention — especially after summer weekends filled with salty foods, cocktails, travel, heat, and changes in routine.
That’s where Brazilian lymphatic drainage can feel so refreshing. ✨
Rhythmic techniques are designed to encourage lymphatic flow, helping move excess interstitial fluid toward the lymphatic system and leaving many clients feeling lighter, less puffy and more comfortable.
🧬 Unlike your circulatory system, the lymphatic system doesn’t have a central pump like the heart.
Lymph movement is supported by muscle contractions, breathing, movement, and pressure changes within the body. One of its important roles is returning excess fluid from the tissues back into circulation.
After all those summer drinks, dinners and vacations, this is the perfect time for a reset. 🌿
Not a crash detox — your liver and kidneys already handle detoxification — but a moment to support your body, hydrate, move, de-puff and feel refreshed again.

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER OUR SIGNATURE FACIAL SCULPTING TECHNIQUE
This isn’t about changing your face! it’s about working with your natural facial structure.
Our non-invasive approach focuses on the relationship between facial tension, fascia, fluid movement and your unique anatomy to help the face look more balanced, relaxed and refreshed.
After a session, you may notice:
• Reduced facial puffiness and fluid retention
• A more defined, balanced-looking facial contour
• Less visible tension through the jaw and masseter area
• A softer, more relaxed appearance
• Reduced appearance of swelling around the eyes, cheeks and jawline
• A refreshed, naturally sculpted look — without invasive procedures
Every face carries tension differently. Stress, jaw clenching, posture, sleeping position and daily habits can all contribute to temporary puffiness, tension and changes in how the face looks.
That’s why our technique isn’t one-size-fits-all. We follow your facial structure, areas of tension and visible swelling to create a treatment tailored to what your face needs that day.
Less puffiness. More definition. A refreshed, sculpted look you can see.
Results may vary from person to person.
✨For recent injectables: please wait 2 weeks after fillers before facial sculpting, or follow your injector’s clearance.

✨ Post-operative fibrosis is much more than just “hard tissue” under the skin.
As your body heals after surgery, an excessive collagen response can sometimes develop, affecting circulation, lymphatic drainage, tissue mobility, and the overall quality of recovery.
Fibrosis can present in different ways, including:
• Tissue hardening and loss of elasticity
• Contour irregularities
• Restricted movement
• Persistent inflammation
• Pain or sensitivity
• Skin changes such as hyperpigmentation or cutis marmorata (mottled skin)
⚠️ It’s important to understand that fibrosis is not only an aesthetic concern. It can also affect tissue function, local circulation, and ultimately influence your surgical outcome.
Early detection and proper management can help improve tissue mobility, optimize lymphatic flow, reduce inflammation, and support a healthier recovery process.
At Sculpt Bar, we believe that education is an essential part of recovery. Understanding the signs of fibrosis is the first step toward addressing it early and effectively.
💬 Have you noticed any of these signs after surgery? Send us a message—we’ll help you understand what may be happening and guide you toward the best options for your recovery.

“Faja burns” and “lipo burns” are some of the most commonly used terms after plastic surgery… but medically, most of these injuries are NOT actual burns. ⚠️
In many cases, they are ischemic lesions caused by:
• Excessive compression
• Impaired blood flow
• Friction and pressure
• Tissue hypoxia after surgery
After procedures like liposuction or tummy tuck surgery, the skin and microcirculation are already vulnerable. When too much pressure is added from tight compression garments, foam boards, folds, or aggressive compression, the tissue may lose oxygen supply and begin to break down.
🔬 TECHNOLOGY BURNS:
Usually caused by excessive heat from RF, laser, ultrasound, plasma or cautery devices.
• More localized
• Red/pink early on
• Well-defined borders
• Blisters appear faster
🩸 ISCHEMIC “FAJA BURNS”:
Actually pressure-related vascular injuries.
• Purple, pale or mottled appearance
• Irregular shape
• Often follows garment lines or folds
• Can worsen over 24–72h even after removing compression
⚠️ Early signs matter:
• Persistent redness
• Purple discoloration
• Blisters
• Severe pain or numbness
• Skin that feels cold, tight or darkening
Early detection and proper postoperative monitoring are essential to help prevent necrosis, delayed healing and long-term scarring.
Education saves tissue. đź–¤

Did you know fibrosis comes in different shapes? ✨
Fibrosis is part of the body’s natural healing response after surgery. It forms when collagen production becomes excessive or disorganized during tissue repair, creating hardened, thickened, or adhered areas beneath the skin.
Not all fibrosis looks or feels the same — and understanding the type of fibrosis is essential for proper management and recovery.
▫️ Cord-like fibrosis
Tight, rope-like bands that can create pulling sensations and restriction in movement.
▫️ Plaque-like fibrosis
Dense, flat areas of hardened tissue that may feel thick, adhered, or uneven under the skin.
▫️ Nodular fibrosis
Small, localized nodules that can feel firm or tender to the touch.
▫️ Mixed fibrosis
A combination of cord-like, plaque-like, and nodular fibrosis occurring simultaneously. This type is often more complex, involving adhesions, tissue irregularities, restricted mobility, and uneven healing patterns.
Each type of fibrosis takes a different approach. The wrong technique, excessive pressure, or poorly timed interventions can sometimes worsen inflammation, tissue adhesion, and scar formation.
That’s why working with a skilled and knowledgeable therapist is so important. Proper assessment, tissue understanding, and individualized care can make a significant difference in healing outcomes, comfort, and long-term results. ✨

Your scar is not “just healing.”
It’s rebuilding itself — phase by phase. ✨
After plastic surgery, the body enters a highly coordinated healing process involving inflammation, collagen production, tissue remodeling, and lymphatic activity. Understanding these stages helps set realistic expectations for recovery and results.
▫️ Inflammatory Phase (Day 1–4)
Swelling, redness, warmth, and tenderness are normal. Your immune system increases blood flow and begins cleaning damaged tissue while the lymphatic system works to remove excess fluid and inflammatory waste.
▫️ Proliferative Phase (Up to 3 Weeks)
The body begins producing new collagen and blood vessels to repair tissue. The scar may appear pink, raised, or firm as new connective tissue forms.
▫️ Maturation Phase (Up to 12 Months)
Collagen fibers reorganize and strengthen over time. The scar gradually becomes flatter, softer, and lighter as tissue remodeling continues beneath the skin.
Recovery is not only about time — it’s about supporting the body’s healing environment through proper post-op care, circulation, lymphatic support, hydration, nutrition, and compression when indicated.
Healing takes patience.
Biology cannot be rushed. 🤍

Your gut and lymphatic system work as one powerful detox + defense team. ✨
Nearly 70% of the immune system lives in the gut, while the lymphatic system helps transport fats, remove waste, regulate inflammation, and support immune surveillance. When lymph flow becomes sluggish, digestion, bloating, water retention, inflammation, and recovery can all be affected.
Supporting lymphatic circulation may help:
• Reduce bloating & fluid retention
• Support digestion & nutrient absorption
• Enhance detoxification pathways
• Improve post-op & tissue recovery
• Regulate inflammation
• Strengthen immune function
Healthy lymph flow = a healthier gut environment. 🌿
🇫🇷

Your lymphatic system and immune system are deeply connected — they function as one coordinated defense and recovery network. 🧬✨
The lymphatic system doesn’t just move fluid.
It also transports white blood cells, immune proteins, and inflammatory signals throughout the body.
As lymph fluid travels through lymph nodes, the immune system constantly “screens” for:
🦠Viruses
🧫 Bacteria
⚠️ Cellular waste & abnormal cells
Inside the lymph nodes, immune cells are activated to help identify and respond to potential threats. This process is essential for:
✔️ Immune surveillance
✔️ Inflammation regulation
✔️ Tissue healing
✔️ Fluid balance
✔️ Recovery after stress, illness, workouts, or surgery
When lymphatic circulation slows down, waste products and excess fluid can accumulate, and immune communication becomes less efficient. This may contribute to:
• Puffiness & swelling
• Increased inflammation
• Heaviness or fatigue
• Slower recovery
Healthy lymphatic flow helps immune cells circulate efficiently so the body can better protect, regulate, and repair itself.
That’s why lymphatic-focused care is about more than aesthetics — it supports important physiological functions tied to immunity and recovery. ✨
At Sculpt Bar, we support the body’s natural lymphatic flow to promote circulation, recovery, and overall wellness from the inside out.
