In 2013, i set out to change things in the salon industry. I found traditional salons to foster toxic environments towards mental health, financial wellness, client care, environmental impact, animal cruelty, all of it. My dream was to create a space where hair was accessible to all who walked in the door. A place where everyone would feel welcome and safe. Where mental health always took precedence over capitalism. A healthy home where stylists could flourish!
With your support and the unbelievably talented artists who have walked in and out of the door over the last decade-this dream became a reality. Two Horses was never supposed to be a « real business ». It has evolved over time into an entity that i am incredibly proud of and i hope that it will continue to carry out the mission it set out to accomplish all those years ago.

This year is ending with a heavy heart. The world is f@cked and when people say, "well, there is nothing you can do about it" this does not sit well with me and i do not agree! There ARE things we can all do to make things better for others! Which is why we have decided to end our decade long relationship with Kevin Murphy, Redken and all the other companies who have either not taken a stance on the horrific genocide in P@lestine, or have aided in the destruction of human and animal life. We have done a major overhaul of the products we carry in house and im so proud to be carrying local, female and BIPOC owned companies who are from Montreal, made in Montreal. We will also be selling my all time favourite magazine, 😮‍💨 Heck yes, i say!

We are excited to see everyone and hope to continue to work together to create a better place for all bodies, hair types and dogs in 2024.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our ongoing evolution and giving us a platform to speak up and and support the causes that are close to our hearts.
