This very unique, handmade dobin is a traditional Japanese teapot characterized by its round, squat body and a prominent overhead bamboo handle attached to two lugs on the pot’s shoulders.

Designed to brew larger quantities of tea, dobin are typically made of heat-resistant ceramic, clay, or porcelain. They are the ideal vessel for infusing robust, everyday Japanese teas that require high brewing temperatures, such as hojicha (roasted green tea), genmaicha (brown rice tea), and bancha.

Traditional dobin usually do not feature built-in strainers, requiring users to use a handheld tea strainer or drop-in metal basket when pouring.

New Arrival: Whipped Tallow Face Cream & Lip Balm

Created in collaboration with and .art

Beef tallow has been used in traditional skincare for generations because its nutrient-rich composition closely resembles the skin’s natural sebum, allowing it to deeply nourish, protect, and hydrate the skin. Rich in naturally occurring vitamins A, D, E, and K, it helps support the skin barrier, improve moisture retention, and promote healthy skin renewal. Its vitamin A content, in particular, supports collagen production and skin elasticity, helping to maintain a smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking complexion.

Osmanthus is renowned for its exceptional fragrance. The tiny flowers release an intoxicating scent described as a blend of apricot, jasmine, and warm sunshine.

Bamboo has a fresh, crisp, and slightly woody scent. It smells like a blend of cut green grass, cucumber, and damp morning dew, leaving a calming, spa-like impression.

Green tea generally smells fresh, grassy, and a grounding aroma reminiscent of freshly brewed matcha or sencha. It is typically mellow and subtly sweet rather than overpowering, blending soft herbal notes with a calm, clean earthiness.
