Just when I thought my acne era was gone… she’s back! But this time I know why (in my case, hormonal imbalance) and how to manage it :

- Don’t freak out: you healed before, you can do it again.
- Pay attention to what are you eating: In my case, this unbalance my hormones hugely! Processed sugar, dairy and alcohol definitely have an impact on my skin. If you suffer from acne as an adult when you didn’t suffer from it before, visit your endocrinologist, probably it’s not a dermatologic problem.
- Simplify your skincare routine to the max! (No harsh actives or exfoliators) Use nourishing moisturizers to recover your skin barrier. Less is more when your skin is inflamed or irritated.
- Be patient: healing takes time
- Visit a specialist! Can’t stress this enough, leave it to the experts!

When your client never wore makeup before so she wants a very natural look. 😍
We still used foundation, concealer, powder and more, but make it look super natural and fresh. ✨
