The Only Chair — Origin Story

My husband Jay came up with it! It was when I first started hairdressing. I had a small setup in the middle of the dining room in our first house.

He was cooking dinner in the kitchen right next to the dining room and I was sitting in the salon chair trying to come up with a name for my little studio.

He looked over at me spinning around in the chair and said "The Only Chair". It rolled off the tongue so well, and we immediately loved it.

As we keep expanding the salon from one chair to two, then four, then eight, and now ten, no matter which chair you sit in, it's still The Only Chair.
