6 month refresh 💙

A little update for all my clients 💛

I’ve always kept my personal life fairly private, but this year has been especially challenging. Between food poisoning, pneumonia, and my ongoing struggles with migraines I’ve spent several months feeling under the weather.
Having to shuffle appointments or cancel on short notice is something I never want to do. My commitment to my clients has always been one of my biggest priorities—but the reality of being self employed is that the work never really stops.
Now heading into my 15th year in the hair industry 🤯 it’s become pretty clear that I need to make more room for rest. My body has been telling me that for a while now, and it’s time I start listening.
With that in mind I’ll be taking two vacation breaks this summer:

☀️ August 3–10
☀️ August 31–September 7

It’s been three years since my husband and I have had more than a long weekend off together, and we’re really looking forward to some much needed quality time in the back country!
I know stepping away means I’ll have to say no to more inquiries than I’d like, especially with my schedule already booking so far in advance. As always I encourage my regular clients to pre-book whenever possible to guarantee an appointment. That being said cancellations do happen and my schedule can change quickly.
For now my books are closed to new clients as the next 12 weeks are already quite full.
I truly can’t thank you all enough—for every referral, every appointment, every recommendation, and for all of my amazing OG clients who have supported me through the years. To everyone cheering us on from the sidelines at Miint, thank you for being here!!
This busy season will pass and I’m looking forward to welcoming new faces again in the fall. Until then I hope you all have a healthy, happy summer. ☀️🩵

I’ve been in the hair industry for 14 years (crazy!) and for the past 7, I’ve built Miint into what it is today—something that truly reflects my passion for lived-in, effortless hair and creating a space where you feel comfortable the moment you sit in my chair.

The success of Miint is also thanks to my husband, who works endlessly behind the scenes with me 🤍

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me outside—hiking, exploring, and soaking up everything the west coast has to offer 🌿 (and spoiling my dog just a little too much)
