The therapeutic usage of salt caves began at the Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland in 1843 and has been successfully used for over 175 years.Polish physician, Dr. Felix Boczkowski, discovered that the mine workers suffered fewer respiratory problems than the general population. Today, it is known as Halotherapy: the inhalation of micro-sized salt particles; and Speleotherapy: the exposure to a subterranean atmosphere.

Our Salt Cave is a totally unique man-made recreation of the environment of the underground salt mine in Poland. It is rich in minerals and micro-elements which are necessary for the human body to function properly.

Please note: we open at 10 a.m. each day, are closed on Tuesdays, open late Thursdays, and final appointments for the day are booked no later than 1 hour before closing.
