Little behind-the-scenes things like this are one of my favorite parts of making bath bombs.

After they’re packed, they sometimes puff up slightly while they finish releasing gas from the reaction inside the bag… so I go through trays like this popping the extra air out one by one. 😂

The hiss. The smell. The rows of fresh bath bombs.

This is the kind of stuff you don’t see in mass production — just real handmade products being made in a real home workshop by real people who care about quality.

Turns out… a few small tweaks make a big difference.

We upgraded our dish & laundry bar with washing soda, a touch of sugar, and citric acid—better suds, better rinse, and that actually clean feeling without the plastic bottles and sulfates.

It’s simple, it works, and it makes dish duty feel a little less… tragic.

Meet our new cleaning concentrates 🌿

Two intentional formulas, each designed for a different kind of surface care.

🫧 Home Cleanse is our Thieves Concentrate, made for kitchens, bathrooms, and everyday messes.
It contains Castile soap, Polysorbate 80, vegetable glycerin, essential oils, and a touch of citric acid.

Why it works:
Castile soap helps lift dirt, grease, and grime. Polysorbate 80 helps disperse the essential oils evenly so they don’t sit on top or clog your sprayer. Vegetable glycerin helps keep the formula smooth, and citric acid helps improve performance in hard water and gives the cleaner a little extra boost.
To mix: add 15–30 mL concentrate to a 500 mL spray bottle, then fill with water.
Each 250 mL bottle makes up to 16 full-size 500 mL bottles, depending on dilution.

Gentle Surface Care is made for stone, sealed wood, furniture, and delicate surfaces. It contains Castile soap, Polysorbate 80, vegetable glycerin, and our signature essential oil blend.

Why it works:
This formula keeps things simple and gentle. It skips citric acid and uses a lower essential oil load, making it a better choice for surfaces that need a little more care while still cleaning beautifully.
To mix: add 15 mL concentrate to a 500 mL spray bottle, then fill with water.
Each 250 mL bottle makes up to 16 full-size 500 mL bottles.

Both are concentrated, diluted at home, refill-friendly, and made with thoughtfully chosen ingredients.
One is for the harder-working spaces.
One is for the surfaces you want to protect.
Both are made to help you clean your home more simply.

Shea and cacao butter have become harder to source—and when I can get them, the cost is high.

You ever notice how the things that need the loudest advertising are usually the things we never needed in the first place?

For years, traditional soap was labeled “harsh,” “old-fashioned,” and bad for skin.

So what replaced it?
Body washes.
Detergent bars.
Synthetic cleansers in plastic bottles.
All heavily advertised.
All positioned as the “better” option.
Personal experience AND science prove these strip our skin of all the goodness.

Interesting how that works.
When something has to convince you it’s safe…
