It's funny how life works sometimes. If you had asked me a few years ago if I'd ever become a tattoo artist, I probably would have laughed. It never felt like something that would be possible for me. And yet here I am, looking back at where I started as an apprentice and realizing just how far I've come.

When I first picked up a machine, I had so much to learn. Every line, every piece, every mistake, and every success became another lesson. Looking back at my early work compared to where I am now is a reminder that growth doesn't happen overnight—it comes from showing up every single day, staying teachable, and putting in the work.

Being surrounded by talented artists has been one of the greatest gifts of this journey. Watching, asking questions, taking advice, and learning from the people around me has helped shape not only my technical skills but also the artist I'm becoming. Every critique, every conversation, and every bit of encouragement has pushed me to keep improving and to really hone in on my craft.

Some days I still catch myself looking at a tattoo I've finished and thinking, "I can't believe I made that." It's such a surreal feeling to see my progress and realize how much my confidence and abilities have grown.

A huge thank you to Kristie, Kai, and Owen & Vanessa. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, answering my endless questions, pushing me to be better, and believing in me throughout this journey. I wouldn't be where I am today without everything I've learned from each of you.

And to every single one of my clients—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for trusting me, especially those of you who took a chance on me when I was just starting out. Thank you for believing in my vision, for giving me the opportunity to grow, and for wearing my artwork with pride. Every appointment, every conversation, every referral, every like, comment, and share has helped me build not only my skills but also my confidence. You've allowed me to chase a dream I never thought I'd have, and I will never take that trust for granted. It means more than you know that you've chosen me to create something you'll carry with you for a lifetime.

I'm still learning. I still have so much room to grow. But I'm incredibly proud of how far I've come, and I'm beyond excited to see where this career takes me next. Here's to continuing to learn, push myself, and create tattoos that make people feel confident and excited every time they look at them.
