Handmade soap has its own kind of character.

Even when I make the same recipe, each batch of vegan, plant-based soap can have its own look and feel — and that’s one of the things I love about making soap by hand.

Made in Ottawa, my soaps are plant-based, vegan and cruelty-free.

It’s not factory-perfect.

It’s handmade, and that’s the point ❤️

Do you really want to stop yourself from sweating — or do you just want to smell good?

There’s a difference.

Sweating is normal. In fact, it’s one of the ways your body regulates its temperature. As sweat evaporates from your skin, it helps cool you down and prevent overheating.

And here’s the interesting part: sweat itself doesn’t actually smell. Body odour happens when sweat interacts with bacteria on your skin.

That’s where deodorant comes in.

Antiperspirants are designed to reduce sweating, usually using aluminum-based ingredients. They can be useful when reducing excessive sweating is the goal, but they’re doing something very different from deodorant.

UTILITY takes a different approach. It’s my handmade, natural deodorant made with plant-based ingredients and no aluminum. It doesn’t try to stop your body from sweating — it’s made to help control underarm odour while letting your body do what it naturally does.
