I was about to say how lucky I feel to receive new product launches from some of the most iconic beauty brands in the world — YSL Beauty, Prada Beauty, Armani Beauty, and Clé de Peau. And yes, I am lucky. But I also can’t overlook the hours, days, and years I’ve spent creating content for women with mature skin — in my case, over 50.

“Grateful” doesn’t even begin to describe the feeling I get when I see a package waiting at my front door. It’s still surreal. But what I’ve come to realize is that this is also proof that following my passion — even when I had no idea where it would lead — is paying off.

I started creating videos in the fall of 2021. I had no expectations. I didn’t know if I’d enjoy it, if anyone would watch, if I’d ever earn anything from it, or if brands would even notice. And I think that’s the key — follow your passion, even if it’s just for an hour a week. Do something you love, not for the outcome, but for the joy of doing it.

When you choose to play, to create, to stretch yourself and learn new things, your universe begins to shift. Doors open. Things align. And life starts to fall into place as it should.

So whether it’s makeup, cooking, sewing, painting, gardening — whatever it is that lights you up — give yourself permission to get lost in it. Let go. Be free. And most of all, keep going.
