Just a heads-up, New Westgate Barbershop will be closed on Victoria Day, May 18, 2026.

Thank you to all our loyal customers and friends who have stayed with us as we moved from Westgate Mall to our new spot at 1572 Carling. And a big thank you to all our new customers! To everyone, we wish you and your families a Happy New Year 2026.

Our lease only gives us two dedicated parking spots right in front of the barber shop. 10 additional spaces are available across the entrance, backing onto Carling Ave. And more spaces available on the East side of the building. Please avoid to park in the “RESERVED or DEDICATED” spots, and avoid the spots facing CYCLE POWER SHOP.

The landlord also asked us to let everyone know that smoking isn’t allowed on his property.

Thanks for helping us keep things friendly with the other businesses that share this space.

Our new Barber shop at 1572 Carling Ave.

We just moved to our new place (1572 Carling Ave) over the Civic Holiday weekend, and we’ll be back at work bright and early at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5th.

Renovations for our new location are progressing.

Just a heads up that Westgate Barber Shop, which has been a staple at Westgate Mall since 1955, is moving to a new spot.

The redevelopment project of Westgate Mall is coming up in the next few months, and we’ll be moving to a fresh new location on August 5, 2025. Only 1km away west of Westgate Mall, at 1572 Carling Ave Ottawa.

We’ll be bringing back the same awesome team of barbers who’ve been at Westgate Barber Shop for decades, same ambiance with a fresh new look!

Free parking is available, and you don’t need an appointment to come in.
