I want to take a moment to welcome and introduce MaĂŻa Mercure to Velvaere!
In Norwegian, Velvaere means to live in a state of wholeness. Like the pieces of a puzzle coming together which creates a sense of purpose as we function day to day on a personal, social, spiritual, emotional and physical level.
Velvaere describes the balance of mind body and spirit which encompasses physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellness.
I am so excited- because it feels like puzzle pieces have indeed been falling together these last few months. Now, with MaĂŻa, Velvaere's spiritual side can finally form.
Get to know MaĂŻa Below, and stay tuned for more exciting changes and updates. I can't wait to share the pieces of this puzzle with you all.
MaĂŻa combines Usui Reiki with shamanic practices and intuitive channeling to create deeply restorative and personalized healing sessions. Her practice offers a grounded space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and listen more closely to what is moving within you.
Maïa’s supports individuals navigating grief, heartbreak, life transitions, burnout, fatigue, illness, and periods of spiritual awakening. A session may focus primarily on emotional processing, energy restoration, or spiritual guidance—or, as is often the case, weave together several of these elements. Drawing on her intuitive abilities, Maïa allows each session to unfold organically according to what the client needs in the moment.
Alongside Reiki, sessions may include gentle touch, scent, sound, ritual, and channeled messages. Her approach is both mystical and grounded, with an emphasis on creating a safe, compassionate space where clients can rest, release, receive, and reconnect with their own intuition.
Maïa’s broader training in sacred plant medicine, contemplative practices, and end-of-life care informs her ability to support clients through profound periods of transition, spiritual exploration, and transformation. As a Death Doula, she brings particular depth and sensitivity to supporting those moving through grief and other significant life changes.
