This is cupping with Samantha.
The marks you see are not bruises. They are a readout of what is happening in your tissue. The darker the mark, the more restriction and stagnation in that area. Light pink means circulation is moving freely. Deep red or purple means your body has been holding onto something for a while.
Cupping works by creating suction that lifts the tissue, increases blood flow, and pulls stagnation to the surface so your body can clear it. For chronic tension, muscle tightness, stress, and injury recovery it is one of the most effective tools available.
Samantha offers cupping as part of acupuncture treatment at Parksville Wellness Collective. Direct billing available through most extended health plans.

Most people have never heard of the NADA protocol.
That is about to change.
NADA stands for National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. It is a five point auricular acupuncture protocol that has been used in addiction and recovery programs worldwide since the 1970s. Five small needles. Both ears. Thirty to forty five minutes.
Each point does something specific. Shen Men calms the nervous system. The Lung point supports grief. The Kidney point addresses deep seated trauma and builds willpower. The Sympathetic point regulates the nervous system and promotes relaxation. The Liver point supports detoxification and clears what the body has been holding onto.
Research shows it reduces cravings, eases withdrawal symptoms, decreases anxiety, improves sleep, and increases retention in recovery programs. It has been used for to***co, cannabis, alcohol, opiates, and other substances.
Samantha offers the NADA protocol at Parksville Wellness Collective alongside full acupuncture treatment. If you or someone you know is navigating recovery and looking for additional support, this is worth knowing about.

You have been doing Kegels wrong. Most people have.
Studies show up to 30 percent of people cannot correctly perform a Kegel without guidance. Bearing down instead of lifting up actually makes things worse. You have been working against yourself without knowing it.
Emsella bypasses the problem entirely.
The electromagnetic field contracts your pelvic floor muscles correctly, at a depth and frequency that is not possible through manual exercise alone. 11,000 contractions in 28 minutes. Fully clothed. No prep. No recovery time.
Your pelvic floor has been waiting for this.
Book a consultation at Parksville Wellness Collective and find out if Emsella is right for you. Link in bio.

You came in not sure what you were going to say.
You left having said more than you expected. That is what it is like to see Liz.
She has a way of making the hard stuff feel less hard. Not by minimizing it. By making the room feel safe enough to actually look at it.
You do not need to have it figured out before you book. You do not need the right words. You just need to show up.
Liz Baerg is a registered clinical counsellor at Parksville Wellness Collective. She works with teens and adults across anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, relationships, and life transitions.
If you have been putting it off, this is the nudge.

Dr. Heather Iverson has been a part of PWC for seven years. If you have not met her yet, let us introduce you.
Heather is a naturopathic doctor and cosmetic injector. That combination matters. Her understanding of facial anatomy, hormonal health, and long term wellbeing means every treatment is approached with precision and care, not just a needle and a price list.
She offers neuromodulators, dermal fillers, Sculptra, lip filler, and skin rejuvenation. Every appointment begins with a consultation so you leave informed and comfortable with whatever you decide.
You can find her in the clinic Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Parksville Wellness Collective.

Lauren Marshall is now accepting ICBC clients at Parksville Wellness Collective.
If you have been in a motor vehicle accident, counselling is a benefit you are entitled to through ICBC. A lot of people do not know that.
A lot of people are also carrying more than the physical recovery. The anxiety that shows up after. The sleep disruption. The stress of the claims process. The way your nervous system stays on high alert long after the accident is over.
That is exactly what Lauren works with.
She is a registered clinical counsellor at PWC and a proud ICBC provider. She works with individuals, teens, and children.

That $60 detox tea is literally just laxatives.
Your body already knows how to detox. Your liver, kidneys, lymphatic system, and skin are running that operation around the clock. The problem is not that your body cannot do it. It is that the load keeps getting heavier and the conditions keep getting worse.
Stress. Poor sleep. Processed food. Sitting all day. A nervous system that never gets the all clear. These are the things that slow your body's ability to clear.
Here is what actually helps.
Infrared sauna triggers a deep sweat response that pulls waste from tissue, not just the surface of your skin. Halotherapy clears your respiratory tract and reduces inflammation. Red light therapy works at the cellular level. Acupuncture activates your parasympathetic nervous system so your body can finally rest, digest, and clear.
All four available at Parksville Wellness Collective. One building. No tea required.
