Try these yoga poses and see how your body responds. Twisting, erecting the entire body upwards, mobilizing the backbone and using the big muscles in the legs get your body flowing and pumping new blood, which is energy.

Sit in butterfly pose. Lift arms shoulder level, then give yourself a hug, grabbing as far as possible towards the shoulder blades.
Exhale lean forward, inhale as you lift yourself back upward.

Yoga poses for mental recovery πŸ’­

These poses focus on activating the parasympathetic nervous system (rest-and-digest mode), reducing cortisol levels, and releasing stored physical and emotional tension.

Restorative Poses (For Deep Relaxation)

Child’s Pose: Nurtures and grounds you, relieving tension in the back, neck, and shoulders. It is ideal for when you need a moment of rest.

Legs-Up-the-Wall Pose: Calms the nervous system and is highly beneficial for anxiety, burnout, or insomnia.

Reclined Bound Angle Pose: A restorative pose that helps open the hips and chest, facilitating the release of stored tension.
