This is one of those colours that we’ve been refining together for over a year now, and honestly… it’s become one of my favourites to create 🍒

Every appointment starts by shifting her base with L'Oréal Professionnel Paris INOA to create a rich, healthy foundation with incredible shine. From there, I add open air balayage through the mids and ends to create soft ribbons of light and movement without harsh lines. Everything is finished with a custom vivid red gloss that melts it all together into a colour that looks different from every angle.

It’s the difference between red hair and dimensional red hair.

Reds are high maintenance, but they don’t have to fade fast. That’s why I’m such a huge fan of Kérastase Chroma Absolu. Red and vivid pigments naturally fade quicker because they’re larger molecules that sit closer to the outside of the hair. Chroma helps keep the hair fibre healthy and the cuticle smooth, which means those pigments have a better chance of staying where they belong. More shine, less fading, and that rich, glossy finish lasts so much longer. If you’re going to invest in a colour like this, investing in the right home care is what protects it.

This is the kind of colour that turns heads because there’s so much depth to it. And that’s exactly why I’ll never get tired of creating it.

Life lately ✨

Wedding season is officially here, and between early mornings, bridal parties, and a very full appointment book, life has been busy in the best way.

I just got back from two incredible work trips that left me feeling so inspired, grateful, and excited about what’s next. There’s something so special about stepping away to learn, connect, and come back with fresh ideas and a renewed love for what I do.

I’ve also been lucky enough to have been on the educator side of things teaching classes and spending the rest of my days behind the chair with the best clients, creating beautiful hair and catching up on life one appointment at a time.

A little tired? Maybe. Very grateful? Absolutely.

Still not over Sunday’s Pro Makeup Class 🫶🏻✨

I had the best time teaching this class and kicking things off with a full model demo for everyone. We spent the entire day diving into Base 101 with such an amazing group of artists, focusing on inclusive makeup, skin prep, undertones, texture, placement, and creating beautiful skin on EVERY face.

The day started with my gorgeous model demo where I got to break everything down step by step, explain my thought process, share all my favourite techniques + little pro tips, and really show how I approach creating a flawless but wearable base.

Then we moved into the hands-on portion and honestly… this was my favourite part. Being able to walk around, give one-on-one guidance, answer questions, tweak techniques, and help each attendee build confidence in their artistry was so special to me 🥹

I’m beyond grateful for every single person who spent their Sunday learning with me, asking questions, trusting me, and bringing such good energy into the room. Watching everyone grow throughout the day was the coolest feeling ever.

Thank you for making this class such an amazing experience 🤍 I already can’t wait for the next one.
