Here’s an easy trick for choosing honey mangoes: check the color, then give the fruit a gentle squeeze. Green and very firm means it still needs time to ripen. As it turns deep golden yellow and becomes softer, it gets sweeter and is ready to eat. A few small wrinkles can mean it’s fully ripe and very sweet. How do you prefer yours: tart or extra sweet?
