SHARED RECENTLY AFTER A SOUND BATH. “I literally felt the pain leaking out of my body - my hands and fingers, my feet and my knees. It was amazing. How is that possible?”
This was shared by a guest to one of my sound baths who suffered from arthritis. It felt like the pain was “dripping” out of their fingers and toes, during and after the experience, and they were pain-free in much of their body. They were lying on the floor and wanted to experiment at a later date with a zero gravity chair to see if the effect was even better.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HEARING THIS and similar client feedback which supports emerging research. While sound therapy is a wonderful way to relax and take some time for yourself to slow and settle down, it does have a real and proven effect on a variety of health issues.
Research and clinical studies suggest that sound therapy may provide relief for people living with chronic pain conditions such as arthritis. It can reduce pain intensity, decrease anxiety and promote relaxation response, improve quality of sleep, and help regulate the autonomic nervous system. This then supports the parasympathetic nervous system (“rest and restore”) helping to reduce muscle tension, lower cortisol levels, slow heart rate and reduce overall inflammation.
Important to note that sound therapy is not a stand alone treatment for chronic conditions and should not replace medical care, but to use it as a complementary therapy is an important add to your tool belt.
If you’re curious, come and see for yourself or reach out if you’re interested in scheduling a one on one
A few sessions will be up and running mid August and back to a full schedule in September.
Come as you are. With love. Xxo 🌸✨🩵 Kim

✨✨✨3pm SUNDAY JUNE 28 ✨✨✨
The June FULL STRAWBERRY MOON - ahhhh - let’s do a little relax and celebration on Sunday afternoon!
The Farmer’s Almanac says that the “Strawberry Moon” name has been used by Native American Algonquian tribes that live in the northeastern United States as well as the Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota peoples to mark the ripening of “June-bearing” strawberries that are ready to be gathered. The Haida term Berries Ripen Moon reflects this as well. I love this symbolism.
This full moon celebration will include some gentle movement, meditative readings, a relaxing sound journey, finished with some strawberry soda, snacks and conversation. You will leave smiley and happy.
Cost $35 75 minutes
To register, please:
🌸 send E Transfer to [email protected]
🌸 include the date you will be attending
include your name and EMAIL - I will email you day of the event to confirm 🩵
Pls note. Payments are non-refundable, however cancellations made 24 hours prior to the sound bath, may be transferred to another day of your choice. Thank you for understanding!
Come as you are, leave a little bit lighter. Xxo 🌸✨🩵 Kim
Do you ever get caught up in the perfect experience? The perfect day off, the perfect vacation, the perfect sound bath 😃 … having things created just as you planned them and nothing less? Me too ! I think that’s human - we want things to go as we planned and so we can enjoy them as we envisioned.
Some of the Sound Therapy training that I took, invited us to listen in a number of ways; in a number of settings to the myriad of sounds around us. To learn to immerse ourselves in them, welcome them and not to push them away as something unpleasant but embrace them as something that’s part of the whole.
I know even now when I play, I often wish things would be “whisper quiet” and when there is an unplanned noise, or something totally unexpected (cell phones! coughing fits!), it’s uncomfortable for me and I try to push it away. So what I’m trying to do more of, and I welcome you to do - is to try to welcome ALL of the sounds.
A little exercise for you… What do you hear during this video? What do they represent to you? Can you relax into it all, rather than bristling?
Me? I wanted to catch the perfect video for you - with just the evening birdsong - it ended up being the birds and dogs and cars and the chimes and, and…. Rather than pushing them away or redoing the video I wondered:
- what the dogs were barking about / were they talking to each other? Was one calling for its human?
- Where are the cars going? Do they have people inside laughing and smiling? Are they going to meet someone?
- My chimes. I bought them when my grandma passed away, is she just giving me a little playful nudge that she’s here and not to worry about perfection?
I’ll leave this with you to ponder. With love, see you soon. Xxo 🌸✨🩵 Kim

I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on something really special… the 2026 4th world coming up this Oct. 29 - Nov. 5 in Siem Reap Cambodia.
In 2024, I had the honour of attending as a featured presenter, speaking on Sound and Collaboration - and it left such a lasting imprint. The depth of connection, the conversations, the people, the sharing of knowledge and “self”… it was something I carried with me long after I returned home. So being invited back, this time to help shape the experience, feels incredibly meaningful. And a lot of intense work for and I!
What makes this Symposium so unique is the people. Attendees and Presenters come from all over the world (eg. Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Spain, Mexico, Phillippines, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, Belgium) with such a wide range of experience and perspectives. It’s one of those rare spaces where it is so dynamic - where you *really* learn something, and go away seeing things differently.
And then… Cambodia. I will admit, Cambodia itself wasn’t on “my list” at the time, but there’s truly something special about the country - the warmth of the people, the history and culture… I was taken with the friendliness, and how at ease I felt, both at the Retreat Center and as I travelled around. Yes, it’s a bit of a jaunt to get there !! but once you arrive… it’s worth every mile.
In a nutshell…
- the 5 star is truly amazing
- the schedule for 7 days is immersive, including presentations, tours, conversation circles, quiet time, etc
- the 7 presenters and their topics are OUT of this world !!
- the price point for a Symposium of this kind is unheard of - we have worked VERY hard to keep it low and accessible
- I could go on!
I’m sharing this because… I’m proud of the work we are doing and it might be something that interests you, or someone you know. If you’ve been craving connection, inspiration, or a completely different kind of experience… this might be it. Feel free to check out the links here, or message me if you’re curious!
See you in Cambodia at the !

As we move into May, ahhhhh - the sun stretching longer into the evenings, the permission to slow down and enjoy the outdoors, the gentle warmth!
The next little bit I’m heading out to upstate New York (one of my favourite places) to deepen my sound knowledge, and pour a little care back into myself. I believe that tending to my own cup allows me to care for others in my life in a more meaningful way. ✨
MAY SCHEDULE … I’m feeling so grateful for a few sound baths I have this month 🌿🌸
✨May 21 A regular Thursday evening group sound bath
✨May 28 I am attending a lovely local retirement home to deliver a sound bath for the residents - so excited about this connection!
