⁣July 17th 2026 marked 20 years since we opened the doors of Ask Hair Studio. 29 year old Lisa could have never imagined the road that laid infront of me, the challenges i would face, the relationships I would build, the gifts this space would give me. Some of the closest people in my circle have come from this space and I could not be more grateful to walk this path with you all. ⁣
⁣⁣
⁣Thank you to my family for pushing me, for encouraging me, and accepting me with all my flaws and still backing me through all. Thank you to Clive for being my rock, my voice of reason, partner behind the scenes, my incredibly underpaid accountant and plumber. Thank you to Gloria for taking a chance with us and working along side me for over 26 years now. To Jaime, for walking through my door and sticking by my side through thick and thin, my ride or die, the bad cop to my good cop, my chosen daughter, and manager of all our children 😉 To all my work family for making each day so much fun and full of laughter, I could not ask for a better group of people to spend my days with. To witness the incredible talent in our space is truly remarkable. I could not be more proud of every single one of you, and I am blessed to be a part of all of your journey. I feel like the luckiest girl to be a part of such an amazing community of small businesses filled with such a diverse culture of entrepreneurs to lean on. ⁣

⁣And finally to our guests, to the people of Steveston, the glue that holds this town together. Thank you for continuing to choose us, for supporting us from day one, for allowing our town to thrive and hold a uniqueness that is so special and rare. ⁣
