The mapping is what makes or breaks the set. Where you place your spikes, how much contrast you create, the lengths you choose, and how you work with your client’s eye shape all make a huge difference.

This is one of the things we spend a lot of time teaching in our Advanced Volume & Artistry course because we want our students to understand the why, not just memorize a map. Once you understand the theory behind it, you can customize every set instead of making every client look the same.
