Sharing bites of life, one adventure at a time.

A little late posting this, but itās a memory worth sharing. A little glimpse into our life as cafĆ© and restaurant owners. š¤
From setting up one of Bubbly Cupās very first Boba Bar events to celebrating Sanatās graduation from UNB, it was a day full of hard work and unforgettable moments.
So proud of Sanat for balancing a full-time job, school, and helping build our businesses over the past two years. Every sacrifice was worth it.
Grateful for this journey and for everyone who continues to support our dreams. ā¤ļø

Behind every small business is someone who risked everything. The fear. The uncertainty. The sleepless nights. The loneliness of the position. Thatās why Iāll always spend money with people who bet on themselves. Had the chance to stop into Koko Head Cafe on a recent trip and support my friend Lee Anne Wong. Not once but twice that week. Owners put their heart, time, and money on the line every single day. Support them back. Shop at their businesses. Buy their product. Share their work. Recommend them to people. Show up. Your support means more than you realize!
Tag a friendās business youāll always support.
People say when someone copies you, take it as a compliment, because it means what youāre doing works. And maybe thatās true. But it hits different when it comes from someone you genuinely considered a friend.
Someone who asked for your advice, your input, your processes, your ideas⦠and because your intentions were pure, you shared them wholeheartedly. Never thinking their goal was to study your every move instead of supporting it.
I understand inspiration. We all get inspired by people. But Iāve learned thereās a difference between inspiration and imitation without respect.
One thing this taught me: not everyone who calls themselves a āfriend in businessā is truly your friend, especially if youāve never actually built together. This was the 2nd time it happened, so we should have known better.
So protect your vision. Protect your energy. Be careful who you trust.
Because trends can be copied, products can be recreated, but the hustle, heart, and story behind your business can never be replicated āØš
