Today I’m using my Micro-Plus machine on myself while I tackle a few chores around the house. I’ve been dealing with a stubborn soft-tissue injury that has been causing quite a bit of discomfort, so I’m incorporating microcurrent therapy into my wellness routine. 💙

Microcurrent stimulation helps support the body’s natural healing processes and can be used as part of a holistic approach to managing discomfort associated with soft-tissue and musculoskeletal issues.

✨ Potential benefits of microcurrent therapy:
• May help reduce pain and discomfort
• Supports the body’s natural repair and regeneration processes
• May help reduce inflammation and improve mobility and comfort
• Non-invasive and requires no downtime, allowing you to get back to your day

I love being able to incorporate supportive therapies into my everyday routine—even while getting the chores done! 🏡✨

✨ A little dream I'm finally saying out loud... ✨

In 2026-2027, I'm taking the leap and starting my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training 🧘‍♀️🤍

And honestly, I'm nervous! There's definitely a part of me that wonders if I'm good enough, flexible enough, or capable enough. But I'm reminding myself that I don't need to have it all figured out before I begin.

I'm doing this because I love yoga, I want to deepen my connection with my body, learn more about myself, and simply follow something that genuinely interests me. 🌿

I'm also excited to step outside my comfort zone, meet new like-minded people, and see where this journey takes me.

So here's to doing it even when l'm scared, even when I doubt myself, and even when I feel a little self-conscious. ✨

Sometimes you just have to follow the dream and trust yourself along the way. 🤍🦋✨

What if you didn't need to do more... but simply needed to REST? ✨🤍

I'm so excited to share that l'm officially Yoga Nidra certified! 🌙

Yoga Nidra - often called "yogic sleep"- is a guided practice designed to bring the body into deep rest while maintaining gentle awareness.

It's a beautiful invitation for your nervous system to slow down, soften, and shift out of the constant state of go, go, go.

🌿 Yoga Nidra may help support:
✨ Deep relaxation
✨ Stress reduction
✨ Nervous system regulation
✨ Restful sleep
✨ Releasing physical & mental tension
✨A deeper connection with your body

And here's the beautiful part...

You don't have to be flexible.
You don't have to clear your mind.
You don't have to "do" yoga.
You simply get comfortable, close your eyes, listen... and receive. 🤍

I'm incredibly excited to bring this deeply restorative practice into my offerings and create more spaces where we can pause, breathe, and come back to ourselves.

Because rest isn't something you have to earn. It's something your body needs. 🌙

✨More Yoga Nidra offerings coming soon.

A new chapter is beginning for The Raven Heart. 🤍

As we wind down the last week and a half at 500 Exmouth Street, I’ll be pausing appointments there as we prepare to move into our new home at 1410 London Road.

I’m so excited to welcome you into the new space in mid-November. While the space is changing, the heart of The Raven Heart remains the same. ✨

In the meantime, I’ll continue offering appointments from my home treatment space. If you’d like to book, please reach out — I’d love to see you.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to new beginnings. 🤍

What if your skin is asking for more than skincare? ✨

Your nervous system + skin are deeply connected.

When you're constantly "on," stressed, or holding tension in your body, it can be harder to feel balanced, rested, and well.

🌿 This is where meridian balancing comes in.

Meridian balancing aims to support the flow of vital energy (qi) through the body's pathways while encouraging relaxation and whole-body balance.

✨ Why it may support your wellness:

🤍 Calmer nervous system
Helps create a greater sense of relaxation and ease.

🤍 Less tension
Targeted stimulation may help ease muscle stiffness and everyday physical discomfort.

🤍 More vitality
Supports the feeling of being restored, grounded, and re-energized.

🤍 Healthy circulation
Encourages blood flow and supports the body's natural restorative processes.

🤍 A healthy skin glow
When your body has an opportunity to slow down, relax, and rebalance, your skin can benefit from that whole-body approach too.

Healthy skin isn't just about what you put ON your skin. It's also about how you support your body from within. 🌿

✨Save this as your reminder to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with your body.

✨ Your skin may be telling you more than you think.

As summer winds down and we slip back into our routines, September is the perfect time to slow down, reset, and reconnect with our bodies. 🌿

This month, I’ll be sharing more about nervous system regulation — and the powerful connection between our nervous system and our skin.

Because when life feels overwhelming, your nervous system feels it first. ⚡️

And supporting your nervous system can be one beautiful piece of an inside-out approach to skin health. 🤍

Here are 3 simple ways to invite more calm into your day:

🌬️ 1. Lengthen your exhale
Try breathing in for 4 seconds and slowly exhaling for 6–8 seconds. A longer exhale can help signal to your body that it’s time to soften and slow down.

💆‍♀️ 2. Release facial tension
Gentle facial massage and microcurrent therapy can help ease areas where we tend to hold tension — like the jaw, forehead, and around the eyes — while creating a deeply relaxing ritual.

🌱 3. Get outside
Take 5 minutes to step away from your phone and connect with nature. Bare feet on the grass. A few deep breaths. A quiet moment. Sometimes simple is powerful.

Which one do you need most today?
🌬️ Breathe
💆‍♀️ Release
🌱 Ground

Tell me below 👇🏼

And stay tuned… September is all about coming back to calm. ✨

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day. 💛

Life can be hard. So today, let’s choose to be kind and gentle with everyone we meet. Be brave. Choose love. Remember how important you are—and remind the people you love that they are important, too.

Tell your friends and family you love them. Nurture your relationships. Create spaces where we can be honest, vulnerable, and supported by one another. None of us are meant to carry everything alone.

Please stop believing you have to carry everything by yourself.

Let people show up for you. Ask for help. Accept the hand being offered. There is strength in allowing yourself to be supported, especially when you’re moving through something difficult.

This life can be so difficult sometimes. Let’s hold onto one another.

Love to each and every one of you. And if you’re reading this today, I’m glad you’re here. 💛

🌿 Looking for a simple place to start reducing the chemicals in your home? Start with your laundry room.
One easy swap is replacing traditional dryer sheets with wool dryer balls.

Dryer sheets are typically made from a non-woven polyester or cellulose base coated with softening agents, lubricants, and fragrance compounds that transfer onto your clothing as the sheet heats up in the dryer.

Many conventional dryer sheets may contain quaternary ammonium compounds (“quats”), other fabric-softening ingredients, and synthetic fragrance mixtures. For some people, fragrances and other ingredients can contribute to skin or respiratory irritation, headaches, or sensitivity.

There are environmental considerations too. Scented laundry products can contribute fragrance chemicals and other compounds to indoor and outdoor air, while residues left behind on fabrics can affect things like towel absorbency and dryer-filter performance.

✨ A simple alternative? Wool dryer balls.

They can help reduce static, separate clothing as it tumbles, and may help shorten drying time. They’re also reusable, making them a simple way to reduce waste from single-use dryer sheets.

If you enjoy scented laundry, you can add a few drops of your favourite essential oil to the dryer balls before they go into the dryer.

💡 My favourite little trick: I keep my wool dryer balls in a canister with my empty essential-oil bottles. The balls gradually pick up the remaining aroma from the bottles, helping me enjoy those very last drops instead of letting them go to waste.

Small changes can add up. 🌱

Would you consider making the switch from dryer sheets to wool dryer balls? Let me know if you found this helpful—and what household product you’d like to see me tackle next!

💛 September is Su***de Awareness & Prevention Month.

Sometimes, the people who seem to be doing okay are quietly struggling behind the scenes.

A simple check-in. A listening ear. A reminder that someone matters and doesn't have to face a difficult moment alone. These small acts of kindness can mean more than we realize.

Talking about su***de can feel uncomfortable, but silence can feel even more isolating.

Let's make space for honest conversations, listen without judgment, and look out for one another-not just this month, but all year long.

You never know when your kindness, your words, or simply being there could make a difference in someone's life. 💛

Check in. Listen. Be there.
