Today, we recognize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. 🧡

Before we can move forward, we have to be willing to acknowledge and understand the darkness in our history.

Today is a day to listen, learn and reflect on the truths of residential schools, to honour Survivors and their families and to remember the children who never returned home.

Reconciliation requires us to carry those truths forward, continue educating ourselves and be part of creating a future rooted in respect, understanding and meaningful change.

We remember. We reflect. We keep learning. 🧡

There’s something pretty special about looking back at the evolution of the building we get to call home.

From an old-school photo straight from the Broadway archives, to the building before we moved in, to BLNDE, and now officially REVAMP Salon Company. ✨

The signs have changed. The space has evolved. New people, businesses and memories have filled these walls. But we love knowing that we’re just one chapter in the long history of this little piece of Broadway.

We’re incredibly proud to have built REVAMP here and to be part of a neighbourhood with so much history, personality and community behind it. 🫶

🥂 CHEERS TO 1 YEAR, TALIYAH! 🤍

One year ago, Taliyah joined Revamp, and watching what she’s built in just 12 months has been pretty incredible.

She has DOUBLED her sales, continued to grow her clientele, gotten involved in our salon community, and is building a career that looks more and more like the one she dreamed of.

But the part we’re most proud of isn’t the numbers.

It’s how hard Taliyah works to make sure every person who sits in her chair has an amazing experience. She listens, she cares, she keeps learning, and she genuinely wants her guests to leave feeling better than when they walked in.

And she’s not slowing down. 👀

This fall, Taliyah is adding hair extensions to her service menu as she works toward becoming extension certified!

One year down and SO much ahead.
