Lies about Permanent Makeup 👀

“You can’t shower after”
❌ Not exactly
You can shower — just avoid direct water pressure on the brows. Keep them as dry as possible and gently pat dry if they get wet.

“It’s semi-permanent”
❌ Misleading
PMU is a tattoo — pigment is implanted into the skin. It fades over time, but it’s not truly “semi-permanent.” Longevity depends on skin type, lifestyle, and technique.

“You can’t work out”
❌ Not forever
You should avoid sweating for about 7–10 days post-procedure. Sweat can affect healing and pigment retention.

“One appointment is enough”
❌ False
A perfection/touch-up appointment is part of the process. Healing changes the pigment.

“Darker = better retention”
❌Wrong
Over-saturating leads to ashy, blown-out brows, not better results.
