Friendly reminder that I will be out of the country and therefore also out of the service area for a month! This is a very much needed holiday and time for me to disconnect, rest and reset so I can be the best version of me I can be for you all! The 15th is my last day in the salon, then I leave to Kelowna on the 17th to 21st, then from October 21st to November 12th I will be in Italya and will have an Italian phone number so I will not be able to receive calls or texts, but please send me a message on Facebook or Instagram and I will get back to you all once I am back in the country. Hey everyone! As we know, summer season doubles as construction season in Saskatoon, this is especially the case downtown right now. In addition to the Broadway Bridge being closed down there is an additional section of 4th Ave that's blocked off right now and there's also a portion of 2nd Ave blocked off. I know this is super annoying and inconvenient but please allow yourself extra time to get to the building and to be in my studio at the time of your appointment.

15 minutes into an appointment that is 60 mins of less, and 20 minutes into an appointment that is over 60 minutes is considered a no-show and fees will accrue.

I am understanding that from time to time, things happen and you may be a few minutes late and as some of you know, I may also have to text or call from time to time if I'm running late with a client as well as for various circumstances but when things run late for one appointment, every subsequent appointment is affected so please be mindful of everyone's time.

After being open for the last year and a half, I have now had enough time to thoroughly assess timing and costs, and have made the difficult decision to reevaluate my price list (effective April) as I need to keep up with product inflation and cost of living. Now, this won’t necessarily affect all my clients but there will be certain areas where you may see a small price increase.

I have been in the industry over a decade and continue to invest in my own knowledge and try my hardest to always create a fun and educational experience for my clients and do my best to customize the environment to each individuals needs - however despite my efforts over the years to keep my service prices down especially in such a difficult financial economy for everyone, my current service pricing structure is no longer sufficient for covering all the additional responsibilities I have as a small business owner.

I do have my services also customized in accordance to peoples preferences and time restraints so as to also make things more affordable, however as I am the sole support beam of Esoteric, I also take on all administrative duties which takes up more time with each service. Additionally, there are many products and other costs involved that are factored into the price outside of my time and experience level, such as rent, parking, accounting/taxes, PoS terminal costs, online booking, business phone and internet as well as gloves, foils, developer, colour, tool maintenance, shampoos, conditioners, treatments, extension tools and products, styling and care products, retail, and so much more.

I will try to keep my prices low as I possibly can and promise to accommodate each individual’s budget where I can and truly, I do not make this decision lightly at all as I don’t want to inconvenience or stress anyone out but I want to be able to continue to be able to give you all a wonderful place to come and leave your worries behind and feel your most beautiful.

Hey y’all, friendly reminder as this has been a recurring issue lately…

If you are sick whether just beginning, in the thick of it, or on the tail end, please postpone your appointment until you’re healthy again. Wellness is my number one priority here at Esoteric, and as much as I appreciate how excited you are for your appointment and/or don’t want to cancel on me short notice…for my own safety, my family’s safety and the safety of my cherished clients - I request that you reschedule so that I don’t end up having to reschedule a whole week of clients if I get sick. Furthermore, REST and take care of yourselves first and foremost! I care about you all and I want us all to be healthy and not contaminating others.
