Sometimes you don’t find your passion right away… sometimes it finds you. 🤍
5 years ago, I started my business from the same room I slept in, offering facials and simply trying to build something for myself.
About a year into my business, I started waxing… and somewhere along the way, I completely fell in love with it. I became obsessed with perfecting my technique, getting the cleanest results and creating an experience where my clients actually felt comfortable getting waxed.
Fast forward to today and somehow that passion turned into my own waxing studio.
Sometimes I look around The Bare Studio and genuinely can’t wrap my head around the fact that I built this. This was NOT EASY, lots of sleepless nights, roller coaster of emotions, at one point I was ready to call it quits. But thankfully I continued this beautiful journey, my business journey, personal journey, and entrepreneur journey, and yes it’s still very very hard but I would change it.
I love what I do. I’m obsessed with what I do. And I think that’s a huge part of why I never gave up on it. 🤍

Freshly waxed skin needs a little time to recover. 🤍
After a Brazilian, the skin can be more sensitive and the follicles are temporarily more vulnerable to irritation. Friction, sweat and close skin-to-skin contact can make that irritation worse — which is why I recommend avoiding s*x for at least 24 hours after your wax (and a little longer if your skin is still feeling sensitive).
A smooth Brazilian deserves a calm first 24 hours. ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the grand opening of The Bare Studio with us. It honestly meant so much to have you guys there and be part of such a special moment in my business journey.
And to all of my clients, thank you for the continuing support. None of this would be possible without you guys. From where I started almost 5 years ago ( in my basement room ) to having my own little studio today… it’s honestly crazy to even think about. 🥹
And of course, the BIGGEST thank you to Kevin❤️ You have been so supportive and SO helpful throughout this entire process (and trust me, it’s been a process 😂). Thank you for always being there, helping me with literally anything I need and supporting all of my crazy ideas. I’m so lucky to have you as my partner and by my side through all of this.

Your wax appointment might be over, but the next 24 hours still count. 🤍
Freshly waxed skin likes one thing: to be left alone.
Skip the heat, sweat, tight clothing and unnecessary friction while your skin settles. It may only be 24 hours ( or a little longer if your skin is more sensitive ) but how you treat your skin during that window can make a big difference in how it looks and feels afterward.
Smooth skin starts with the wax. Keeping it that way comes down to the aftercare.
