1. Building long-lasting relationships with my clients

I’ve had many of the same clients since I started my business in 2020. When you’re honest, fair, and consistently deliver good results, clients stay loyal. Many of my clients have followed me through every location, even when they’ve had closer options available. If this is you, just know I’m truly grateful for your support

2. Investing in high-quality technology instead of taking shortcuts

I’ve invested well over six figures into advanced equipment and technology to ensure both safety and results for my clients. While many people choose cheaper, unsafe alternatives to maximize profit, I’ve always prioritized quality, education, and doing things properly

3. Staying ethical and honest, even when it doesn’t benefit me financially

I will always give my clients advice based on what’s best for them, not what makes me the most money. I never believe in overselling treatments or products that aren’t necessary for someone’s journey. Trust means everything to me 🥺

4. Focusing on quality over quick money

In slower seasons, it can be tempting to constantly discount services just to fill appointments. But I’ve learned that clients who truly value your work will pay for quality, respect your time, show up consistently, and remain loyal without needing constant promotions

5. Educating myself on treating all skin tones, especially darker skin tones

One thing I noticed early in esthetics school was the lack of education and hands-on training for treating people of colour. Most of the education focused on lighter skin tones. Early in my career, I made it a priority to gain experience and properly educate myself on treating darker skin safely and effectively. Today, it’s one of the skin types I work with most often, while many providers still turn those clients away

As some of you may know, our lovely Deanna has been presented with a new opportunity and will be leaving us at the end of May. We are so grateful for everything she has brought to Go Bare Toronto and know many of you will miss her just as much as we will. We wish her nothing but success in this next chapter

We’re also excited to welcome Jorja to the team. She is a Medical Esthetician and has been training very closely with us to ensure she meets the Go Bare Toronto standard of care and experience. She has been absolutely amazing and we can’t wait for you all to meet her

A reminder that Cierra will be away from June 29th – July 10th. Please ensure you are pre-booking your appointments in advance to avoid disappointment during this busy season. Jorja will still be available on select days while Cierra is away
