☀️Skin Myth: You can’t wear sunscreen because you won’t tan.

False!

A tan is actually your skin’s response to UV damage. Sunscreen doesn’t stop you from getting colour—it helps protect your skin from deeper damage and premature aging.
A fresh or active tan is a contraindication for laser hair removal because the laser targets melanin (pigment). It can’t tell the difference between the pigment in your hair and the pigment in your tanned skin, increasing the risk of burns, pigment changes, and even scarring.
Protect your skin with SPF, skip the fresh tan before your appointment, and you’ll have a safer, more effective laser treatment. ✨
