From start to finish, a chemical peel takes about 20-30 minutes. ⏳

After cleansing & analyzing the skin, I put a really cute dual fan around your neck to cool your face & distract you from the itching 😮‍💨✌🏼

The chemical peel is applied to your entire face & neck if desired. 😎

It’s on for approximately 2 minutes, and just feels a little bit warm and itchy while it’s on. ⚡️

After neutralizing, extractions are done & then finishing products. 💦

What to expect during a chemical peel appointment➡️

▫️Client form will be signed updating all medications, allergies & facial products currently used. This is very important, because some medications and products are contraindicated for this service.

▫️Two cleanses & a skin analysis are preformed. Here, I can see the health of your skin & determine which peel will be best for you.

▫️A Vaseline barrier is applied around sensitive areas of the face, and the skin is degreased which allows the peel to pe*****te deeper into the skin.

▫️Eyewear is placed & the peel application starts! You can expect to feel an itchy sensation & a bit of a “spicy” feeling. The fan helps😉

▫️A timer is set, usually for 2 minutes while the peel processes. During this time, the peel is gently dissolving the top layer of skin which is made up of keratinized dead skin cells.

▫️The peel is then neutralized so that there is NO itchy sensation remaining. This is important because the peel will keep on working if not fully neutralized, leading to a chemical burn.

▫️Once fully neutralized, extractions are done.

▫️Serums, moisturizer & SPF are put on & you are ready to go!

The whole process takes about 15-20 minutes, so it’s a nice quick treatment!
