Hello all, Happy Easter! Spring is the time for new beginnings and change. I couldn’t think of a better way to spend this beautiful day, lending a hand to our unhoused community Downtown Edmonton!
I have had the absolute pleasure of being a part of an incredible Facebook organization called Smile YEG! Over the past few months Christine Laughlinand I have donated our time, hearts, food and treats to helping out this wonderful group.
They provide meals EVERY Sunday evening to the homeless population….250-350 people per Sunday evening!
Many members bear this cost from their own pockets. If you would like to help this great organization and help make a difference by donating, so we can buy much needed supplies ,groceries especially protein as it’s so expensive!
