✨ First clip: Consultation — the most important step of every appointment!
This is where we discuss your goals, expectations, lifestyle, and vision for your hair. I want to fully understand what you’re wanting and make sure we’re both on the same page so I can create results you’ll truly love!

✨ Second clip: Colour processing!
My client wanted blonde highlights while adding more dimension and a cooler tone to her natural hair. We completed a full foil and coloured the hair left out between the foils to create that soft, cool dimension. We also rinsed the back foils first while the front continued processing to avoid over-processing and keep her hair healthy and strong.
(Not shown: toning, we added a shadow root for that lived-in, lower-maintenance grow out and toned her blonde to remove unwanted warmth.)

✨ Third clip: Extension sectioning + placement customized for this client.
During her consultation, she mentioned she loves wearing high messy buns, so we adjusted placement and brought the extensions closer to the front temple area to ensure seamless coverage and blending around her face frame. For this install, we used 200g of hair and two rows to create fullness and density that suited her natural length!

✨ Fourth & Fifth clips: The final result 🤍
After installation, we custom cut and blended the extensions (yes — extensions should be cut to blend seamlessly!). Then comes my favourite part… seeing my client leave feeling confident, beautiful, and completely in love with her hair. Wear it curled, straight, up, down — whatever makes YOU feel your best ✨

My first weekend working at my new salon was everything I hoped for and more ✨ The gratitude and excitement I feel is honestly so surreal 🤎
The warm welcome from the girls from the Beauty Hive Collective was amazing, but getting to meet such incredible clients made it even more special. Even though I didn’t get photos of each clients hair every conversation, laugh, and appointment reminded me why I love what I do so much and this is the right move for myself as hard as it is! It already feels like home, and I’m so excited to continue building relationships and officially start this new chapter full time just a few more weeks✂️
