September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Today, we honour residential school Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impacts of residential schools on Indigenous families, communities and Nations.
Remembering matters. But reconciliation is an ongoing commitment—one that asks us to keep learning, listen to Indigenous voices, reflect on our role, and take meaningful action.
We encourage our community to take time today to reflect, learn and consider how we can continue this work beyond September 30.
