We tend to think hydration begins with moisturizer, but your skin starts managing water long before the last step of your routine.

Ingredients like hyaluronic acid help support water within the upper layers of the skin, while niacinamide supports the barrier that helps keep it there.

Think about hydration as something you build through your routine, then support with your moisturizer.

Signature Six ingredient Vitamin C has an important job to do, especially in the warmer months.

UV exposure increases free radical activity in the skin, creating oxidative stress that contributes to visible signs of premature aging. Vitamin C helps neutralize those free radicals, but simply having vitamin C in your skincare isn’t enough. The form, stability, supporting ingredients and delivery system all influence how effectively it can do its job.

That’s why BOOST uses water-soluble ETVC, a stable form of Vitamin C, alongside Vitamin E + Ferulic Acid to create a broader antioxidant system.

And because healthy skin needs more than antioxidant protection, the formula continues with Hyaluronic Acid for hydration, peptides to support the skin and additional antioxidants including Kakadu Plum and Grape Seed Extract.

That’s the difference between adding Vitamin C to a formula and building a complete serum around it.

BOOST was designed to make every ingredient work better together.

Niacinamide is Vitamin B3 and one of the reasons you’ll find it across so many radford formulas is its relationship with your skin barrier. Niacinamide stimulates your skin’s own production of ceramides, the lipids that help form and strengthen the barrier that keeps water in. It’s a perfect example of why Vitamin B is part of our Signature Six, we think of it as the support system.

Some of the best skin education happens in the treatment room. On my recent trip to LA, Winter asked me a few of the questions I hear all the time while I was treating her skin, so we decided to share them. First, what do I reach for when someone wants to improve the marks and texture left behind by old acne? Lactic acid. It helps encourage cellular turnover to improve uneven tone and texture while supporting the skin’s collagen renewal. And then the harder question, if I could only take a few RADFORD products to a desert island, which ones make the cut? Watch to find out.

Your skin has a love language. Hydration. FIX is a Korean colour-changing hydrogel mask made with five forms of hyaluronic acid, alongside glycerin and trehalose to help attract and hold water at the skin’s surface, plus glutathione for antioxidant support. The hydrogel keeps the formula in close contact with your skin, gradually becoming more gold as you wear it. It’s concentrated hydration you can actually see happening. Consider FIX a love letter your skin understands.

If I could change one thing about the way most people treat their skin at home, it would be how they cleanse.

In the treatment room, we spend a lot of time thinking about cellular turnover, because healthy skin needs to be able to release what it no longer needs.

That’s why I believe in double cleansing with CLEAN. The first cleanse removes the day. The second allows ingredients like AHA to work directly on the skin, helping loosen the bonds between dead skin cells so they can shed more effectively.

Because every serum, treatment and moisturizer you apply afterwards is more effective. This is the foundation of your best skin yet.

The GAZE is a daily practice of meeting yourself in the mirror, before you start assessing what needs to be fixed. Close the door, put your phone down and give yourself a few uninterrupted minutes. Look into your own eyes. Notice what comes up. You don’t need to change it, solve it or turn it into anything. The point is to practise being present with yourself. We spend so much of our lives looking outward, responding to what everyone and everything needs from us, that it becomes surprisingly easy to lose contact with how we actually feel. The mirror gives you somewhere to return. With repetition, that small act of attention can become a habit of self-reflection and self-compassion. A GAZE a day to ground you.

Summer asks more of your skin. Sweat, sunscreen and extra time outdoors create more buildup, while heat can leave your skin feeling dehydrated, even when it doesn’t feel dry. That’s why I don’t overhaul my routine for the season. I make sure I’m cleansing thoroughly with CLEAN, replenishing hydration and antioxidant support with BOOST, and using EYE anywhere my skin needs an extra layer of hydration. Healthy skin isn’t about changing your routine every season. It’s about understanding what your skin needs today.

Most people skip toner because they think it’s an unnecessary step. Sometimes they’re right. A toner should earn its place in your routine by doing something your skin actually benefits from. That’s why we formulated TONE to do three jobs at once. Lactic acid helps support healthy skin turnover by gently lifting away the buildup that can leave skin looking dull. Niacinamide helps strengthen the skin barrier while improving the look of pores and uneven tone. Hyaluronic acid replenishes hydration after cleansing so your skin feels comfortable and ready for what comes next. Use it after cleansing to prepare your skin for the rest of your routine, before makeup for a smoother, more hydrated surface, or anytime your skin needs a little extra hydration. Healthy skin isn’t built with more steps. It’s built by making sure every step has a purpose.
