But before you click “Add to Cart,” there are a few questions I want you to ask yourself:👇

Do you actually understand the technology you’re buying?

Do you know the specifications and treatment parameters?

Do you know who is, and isn’t a suitable candidate?

Do you know the contraindications?

Do you know how to assess tissue and decide whether that modality is appropriate in the first place?

And if something doesn’t go as expected… who are you calling for support?

A machine is only a tool.

Buying equipment does not automatically give you the knowledge required to use it safely, appropriately or confidently.

Before worrying about having the biggest machine collection, invest in understanding anatomy, tissue response, assessment, treatment planning and the science behind the technology.

Because the goal shouldn’t be to know which button to press.

It should be to understand WHY you’re pressing it.

I could start asking, “What am I actually seeing here, and what does this client need?”

That’s where confidence came from.

Not from pretending I knew everything.
