Meet Person, Body and Mind.
They’re all parts of the same person, but they don’t always arrive home at the same time.
Your body can finish work, walk through the front door and sit down on the couch while your mind is still answering emails, replaying conversations or thinking about tomorrow.
That’s the idea behind this little conversation.
Sometimes the goal isn’t to force your mind to suddenly “switch off.” It’s to give it something different to do for a while.
In this case, Body suggests something simple: breathing.
Not because a few breaths solve everything, but because deliberately slowing down and paying attention to your breathing can be one way of signalling that the workday is over and something else can begin.
Person, Body and Mind may have a few more conversations coming.
Some of the people who could benefit most from acupuncture are often the ones least likely to book.
When I asked Alison who she sees missing out the most, her first answer was busy people and stressed people.
Then she paused.
"New moms."
Not because acupuncture isn't helpful, but because they're often exhausted, caring for someone else around the clock, and putting their own needs last.
Whether you're navigating early parenthood, a demanding job, or simply feeling like there's never enough time, your wellbeing still matters.
Sometimes the hardest part isn't finding the right treatment. It's giving yourself permission to receive it.
After learning a little more about how hot stone massage works, the next question is simple: who is it actually for?
I asked Diana, one of our Registered Massage Therapists, and her answer might surprise you.
Hot stone massage can be a great option for many people. During pregnancy, therapists take extra precautions with the temperature of the stones, but for most people it's simply another way to deliver soothing heat while helping muscles relax.
If you've ever wondered whether hot stone massage might be a good fit for you, your RMT can help you decide based on your needs and comfort level.
Most of us never learn how our breathing and pelvic floor work together.
In this exercise, Jigna asks her patient to gently contract her pelvic floor muscles, hold the contraction, and then slowly let one knee fall to the side while maintaining that contraction. As Jigna counts, she's assessing how well the patient can maintain the contraction during movement.
If the contraction is lost, she also asks the patient whether she can feel it and re-engage those muscles. That ability to recognize and regain control is another important part of pelvic floor coordination.
This type of assessment can provide useful information about pelvic floor endurance and coordination, which may play a role in concerns such as stress urinary incontinence.
Pelvic floor physiotherapy is individualized, so exercises and treatment will vary depending on each person's needs.

We spend a lot of time trying to get somewhere.
The next meeting.
The next workout.
The next weekend.
Sometimes it's worth slowing down long enough to notice where you already are.
For me, time outside has a way of quieting the mental noise.
Not because it solves every problem. But because it reminds me that I don't have to carry every thought all at once.
Most people think stability means standing perfectly still.
Real stability shows up while you're moving.
Every little correction your body makes is your nervous system gathering information and improving control.
You don't need to eliminate every wobble. You just need to practice recovering from it.
Try this exercise and see what you notice.
One of the most common questions we hear is, "How long before I'll notice a difference?"
Hyejin explains that cosmetic acupuncture is a process, not a one-time treatment. For many people, the initial phase involves about 4 to 6 weekly sessions to help build momentum, followed by maintenance based on your goals.
Like many wellness practices, consistency often matters more than intensity.
If you're curious whether cosmetic acupuncture is a good fit for you, we're happy to chat.
Pain isn't always the only thing people notice changing.
After a few months of consistent chiropractic care with Dr. Sarah, this patient found relief not only from her sciatica and menstrual cramps, but also noticed improvements with her migraines and vertigo.
Every person responds differently, and no treatment can guarantee these kinds of results. But sometimes giving your body the time and consistency it needs can make a bigger difference than you expected.
If you've been wondering whether chiropractic care is right for you, we'd be happy to help you explore your options.

Wellness doesn't usually come from one thing.
Some days it's learning.
Some days it's practicing a skill.
Some days it's building strength.
None of them have to take hours.
Small investments, made consistently, can shape how we move, think, and feel over time.
We often think pain came out of nowhere.
But our bodies usually give us smaller signals first.
Tightness. Fatigue. Stiffness. Less energy. Poor sleep.
They're not always emergencies, but they can be invitations to pay attention before things become harder to ignore.
Have you ever looked back and realized your body had been trying to tell you something for months?
