I used to struggle with getting consistently good retention too.

I thought it was the glue.
The humidity.
The products I was using.

Until I discovered the LED lash technique.

But here’s something a lot of lash artists don’t realize:

Simply switching to LED doesn’t automatically guarantee better retention.

If you don’t understand the right prep, application, placement, and curing system, you can still struggle with retention even when using LED.

Once I learned how to use LED properly, getting consistent retention became so much easier.

I often hear clients say, “I heard LED lashes are allergy free.”

But that’s simply not true.

And as lash artists, I really hope we stop advertising LED lash extensions this way.

LED technology can have some great benefits, including curing the adhesive much faster than traditional lash adhesive systems. But faster curing does NOT mean there is zero risk of an allergic reaction.

LED lash adhesives still contain acrylates/cyanoacrylates, which can trigger sensitivities or allergic reactions in some clients.

So instead of saying:
“LED lashes are allergy free” ❌

A more accurate way to explain it is:
“LED lashes cure almost instantly, which may reduce exposure to uncured adhesive, but allergic reactions are still possible.” ✅

LED is an amazing technology, but we don’t need to make unrealistic promises to sell it.

Educating our clients properly builds more trust than saying something is 100% allergy free.

I can finally say that this summer, I genuinely felt alive again after the longest time. 🥹☀️

Being an entrepreneur is not easy. Your mind is constantly on your business, and sometimes it feels like you’re working 24/7 even when you’re technically “off.”

That was me in the summer of 2025.

I spent almost the entire summer working at my studio without really allowing myself to take a break. And when summer ended, I remember feeling so sad because I realized…all I did was work.

So I made a promise to myself.

In 2026, I would allow myself to enjoy the happy moments too.

And wow…this summer was such a blessing. 🥹🤍

So many beautiful memories. So much laughter. So many little moments where I stopped thinking about work and simply enjoyed being present.

I traveled. I spent time with people I love. I tried new things. I made memories.

And for the first time in a long time, I felt so alive.

Of course, life still gets busy. There will always be work to do, goals to reach, and another thing waiting on your to do list.

But please don’t become so busy building your future that you forget to live the life you have right now.

Take the trip.
Go out with your friends.
Watch the sunset.
Take the pictures.
Laugh until your stomach hurts.
Give yourself permission to enjoy your life.

Because at the end of the day, life really is beautiful. 🤍

10년 넘게 이 순간을 기다려왔는데, 드디어 제 꿈이 이루어졌어요. 💜

BTS가 처음 캐나다에 왔을 때 저는 아직 고등학생이었고, 콘서트 티켓을 살 여유가 없어서 보러 가지 못했어요. 그리고 2020년에 BTS가 토론토에 올 예정이었는데, 코로나19 때문에 콘서트가 취소됐어요.

그때부터 다시 돌아오는 날만 계속 기다려왔어요.

정말 마음 깊이 감사하다는 말을 꼭 전하고 싶어요. 그동안 정말 열심히 해줘서 고마워요. 힘들 때도 계속 앞으로 나아가고 포기하지 않을 수 있도록 항상 큰 힘과 영감을 줬어요.

올해 토론토에 와줘서 정말 고마워요. 남은 월드 투어도 건강하고 안전하게 잘 마무리했으면 좋겠어요.

I’ve been waiting for this moment for over 10 years, and my dream finally came true.

When BTS first came to Canada, I was still in high school and couldn’t afford a ticket to see them. Then, BTS was supposed to come to Toronto in 2020, but the concert was cancelled because of COVID-19.

Since then, I’ve been waiting for their comeback.

I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work. You inspire me to keep going and never give up.
