2024 ➡️ 2025 ➡️ 2026

Three years. Same face. Three completely different approaches.

2024: We were working with a company that had a very specific competition makeup style. It wasn’t really our style, so Dallas and I did our best to tweak it into something she felt comfortable wearing. (The hair wasn’t my work. 😅)

2025: We continued learning from coaches and other competitors, taking bits and pieces of everyone’s advice. It was an improvement, but the makeup still leaned much heavier than Dallas wanted. We kept searching for that balance between stage-ready and still looking like her.

2026: This year, we tuned out the noise.

The only opinion we listened to was her husband’s—someone who’s spent plenty of time on stage and understands what actually translates under the lights. His advice was simple:

“Natural makeup always looks best.”

So that’s exactly what we did.

Less product. Softer highlights. More dimension. More skin. More Dallas.

When she stepped on stage, she still looked like herself—just elevated. And hearing him say this was the prettiest makeup she’s ever worn on stage was the biggest compliment I could receive.

This journey reminded me that experience matters, but so does trusting your instincts. Trends change. Opinions are endless. But creating makeup that enhances someone instead of masking them will always be timeless.
