After completing the Hairdressing program in 2014, I dove into apprenticeships and workshops to polish my skills, eventually becoming a master stylist. Now, I get to live my dream through "Becca Milani Hair," where I work independently, renting a chair in the vibrant, energetic hub of downtown Vancouver. At Silver 4 Hair, I’m not just another stylist—I’m my own boss! This setup lets me create my own schedule, set my prices, and craft one-of-a-kind looks for my clients, all while building meaningful connections and having fun with my creative side. Of course, running the show means I handle everything—from marketing and booking to managing finances. But that’s the best part! It’s exciting to grow my own brand, build an amazing client base, and let my passion for hairstyling shine in every cut, color, and transformation.

This transformation didn’t happen overnight! It took patience, multiple appointments, and a whole lot of trust in the process.

This is exactly why your hair history is SO important! Knowing what has been done to your hair helps me understand what to expect during a colour correction.
I knew we were going to have some challenges, so nothing came as a surprise! 😌
AFTER SESSION 1: Trust the process! ☝🏽
We had to go through this warm brown phase before reaching our final goal, and that’s completely normal with colour corrections!
We knew from the beginning that this wasn’t going to happen in one appointment.
Slow and steady was the plan because maintaining her hair’s integrity was always my priority. ❤️

There were definitely some scary-looking moments along the way, and here’s one of them!
Thankfully, my client was committed to her at-home hair care, which allowed me to continue making progress behind the chair.
And can we talk about how impressively strong her hair was throughout this process?! 💪🏻❤️
This is why I always say that what you do at home matters just as much as what I do in the salon!

Sometimes, going darker is all about adding depth, dimension, and bringing life back into your hair!
For this transformation, I focused on creating a soft, blended brunette with natural-looking dimension while maintaining brightness throughout the ends. We also added a fresh cut and soft waves to bring everything together!
