Full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces. Check.
It's a beautiful opportunity to let go of all the things that are no longer you.
The version of you that you are becoming cannot take flight while shackled to the weight of the past.
Take a few minutes and write down the things that you're done with, and say goodbye.
How can you tell the difference between all the voices in your head?
What's your brain?
What's your mind?
What's your gut, your soul, your heart?
Spending quiet time alone helps sort out the difference, but listening for love never fails.

Like a leaf taken by the stream, I flow where I'm guided by the prompts of Uni.
I trust.
I trust myself.
And I trust the greatness of my life.
I stay open and receptive so I can hear the messages and receive the downloads when they come.
It's really just concentrated herbal tea.
And the photo at the end was right when I poured the hot water in. I let it steep all day and cool down before I poured it into my toner bottle.

It's a powerful day for magic! Take a few minutes and think about the things that you've outgrown, the things that might be holding you back, the things that keep you small.
Write them down.
Let them go.
Making your own fermented pickles at home is super simple! And easy to customize.
You basically just need to make sure you have the right concentration of saltwater and patience for the bacteria to do their thing.
And don't feel like you need to limit yourself to cucumbers. You can ferment just about anything.

Yesterday was a fantastic day at Trout Lake for the Pagan Awareness Festival!
Ran into old friends, made some new friends, and got a new coffee mug! Because a pottery addict always needs a new coffee mug. Thank you grace for making such beautiful things! My coffee this morning was even more delicious!

So tomorrow is August eighth (08/08) and it's said to be the Lion's Gate Portal zenith.
What does that all mean? And how do the stars know it's 08/08 on the Jesuit calendar tomorrow?
Great questions!
To put it simply it's an astrological event that happens every year around this time. It's the alignment of the Earth, the sun in Leo, and the placement of the brightest star in the sky Sirius. It usually starts in the last week of July or so, and goes just past August 8th.
It's said to be a wonderful time to let go of things we are not, and manifest things we are, into our lives. And because of the date being a double 8 (double infinity) if you follow numerology, it's an event of power, abundance, high potential, and infinite possibilities.
When it comes to what it means, and the date it happens, I think those two things are less important than us as magical practitioners taking the time to focus on what we are happy with, and unhappy with in our lives, and make conscious plans to change them. Anytime we do that, it's a powerful manifesting time.
So, at some point in the next couple of days, sit down and ask yourself what parts of your life are you continuing out of habit?
What parts of your life are not really you anymore but you repeat them because it's easy and familiar?
And what do you want to create?
What would you like to add to your life? Even if it's just joy, laughter, love, kindness, it doesn't have to be huge, financial or career goals.
You'd be surprised how magickal a little bit of focussed journalling can be!
