Worried laser will cost a fortune? Here's what one Mississauga client said after their sessions:
“Reasonable price where you don't have to break your account, outstanding result.” A., Mississauga client
If price is what's stopping you, here's how to find out what laser will really cost before you spend anything, wherever you go:
1. Ask for the total for your whole plan, not the price per session.
2. Ask how many sessions that total covers. For most areas it's 9 to 12.
3. Ask what happens if you need a touch-up later.
At our clinics you get your total at the free consultation, so you can decide at home.

3 myths that keep people waiting years to try laser.
Myth 1: “It's too expensive.” Underarms start at $21 for new clients, and your first underarms session is free. Most people compare laser to one wax appointment. Compare it to a year of razors, wax and ingrown-hair products, which never stop.
Myth 2: “It won't work on my skin.” The lasers we use are safe for most skin types, and checking yours is the first thing we do at your free consultation.
Myth 3: “It hurts like waxing.” Waxing hurts because it rips the hair out. Laser doesn't pull anything. It works on the root under your skin, and we use painless laser.
Save this for the next time one of these stops you.

Hair still there after your laser session? It didn't fail.
This surprises a lot of first-timers. You leave and the hair looks the same, so it's easy to think nothing happened. Laser doesn't pull anything out. It works on the root under your skin, and the hair sheds on its own over the next few weeks.
So after a session: don't pluck or wax what's left. Let it fall out by itself, and keep shaving in between if you need to.
That's also why most areas take 9 to 12 sessions. Each one catches the next round of hair as it grows in.
Save this for after your first session.

POV: trying laser on your underarms, for free.
Most people picture this part as scary. Here's what it actually looks like: glasses on, arms up, and a few minutes later you're done. We check in with you the whole time, and you can pause whenever you want.
The only prep is shaving your underarms about 24 hours before. Skip wax and tweezers for a few weeks before, because laser works on the root and needs it in place.

Worried you'll feel rushed at your first laser appointment? Two clients told us how theirs went.
“They answered all my questions with utmost knowledge.” L., Toronto client
“Great customer service and quality of the technician doing the work.” A., Toronto client
Wherever you book, you should never leave with a question you didn't get to ask. Save this and bring these to your first visit:
1. Is laser a good fit for my skin and hair?
2. What will I feel, and can we pause if I need to?
3. How many sessions will this area take? (For most areas, 9 to 12.)
At our clinics we answer all three at your free consultation, before anything starts.

Is the underarms laser session really free? Yes, and you don't have to buy a package first.
Here's everything that visit includes:
1. A free consultation. We answer every question and check your skin type.
2. Our honest recommendation for your skin and hair, and which package would fit you, if any.
3. Laser on your underarms. It takes a few minutes.
4. Time to decide, at home. No pressure on the table or after.
Why we do it this way: a lot of people put off laser because they don't know how it will feel. One session answers that better than any post can.
Every one of our 5 clinics offers it: Vaughan, North York, Scarborough, Newmarket and Mississauga.

You're ready for laser if you run your hand up your leg before deciding what to wear.
That check happens because a razor only cuts hair at the surface. The root stays, so the stubble is back by the next day, sometimes by dinner. Laser works on the root under your skin instead, which is why there's less hair after each session, not just one smooth day.
If legs are your goal, 3 things to know before you start:
1. Shave about 24 hours before each session. Don't wax or tweeze, because laser needs the root in place.
2. Most areas take 9 to 12 sessions, spaced weeks apart.
3. At your free consultation we check your skin type and tell you honestly what will work for you.
Not sure yet? Try it on your underarms first. It takes a few minutes, it's free, and you'll know how laser feels before you plan your legs.

What if you actually looked forward to your appointments?
Most people dread waxing: growing it out, bracing yourself, the countdown before the strip comes off. Here's what one of our Vaughan clients said about coming to see us: "It is always such a lovely time to see them. The service is professional, top notch."
Wherever you go for laser, 3 signs you're in good hands:
1. They tell you what you'll feel before they start.
2. They check in with you during the session.
3. They tell you honestly if laser isn't the right fit for you.
If any of these is missing, you're allowed to ask for it. You're the client.
That's what we do every visit, and if something isn't right, we make it right.

Rating hair removal, honestly.
Shaving: 4/10. Quick and easy, but it's back by dinner, and so are the razor bumps. Tip: shave with the grain to cut down on bumps.
Waxing: 5/10. Smooth for longer, but it hurts every time and you have to grow it out first. And if you ever want laser, waxing gets in the way: it pulls out the root that laser needs.
Laser: 11/10. A few minutes for small areas, less hair after each session, 9 to 12 sessions for most areas. And you shave in between, so no growing it out. Yes, we know the scale only goes to 10.
