We are working very hard to contact everyone with a booked appointment. At this time we have still not been allowed to enter our spa as it has been deemed unsafe for us to do so. We are working hard with our insurance provider, landlord and work crews to get things moving as quickly as possible. Unfortunately our wall, floor, ceiling, plumbing and electrical were all damaged in the accident so it is a big repair job.

We remain temporarily closed for the time being.

On Saturday, our business experienced an unexpected and devastating accident when a vehicle drove through the wall of our building and into the salon, causing significant damage to both the shop and the building itself.

While we are heartbroken by the damage, we are incredibly grateful that none of our staff or clients were injured. It was a very close call, and everyone is understandably shaken. Thankfully, everyone is safe and that is what matters most.

As a result, Shimmer Beauty Bar Sidney will be temporarily closed until further notice while we navigate this situation and assess the next steps. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this difficult time.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the first responders for their quick response, professionalism, and care.

To our amazing clients, thank you for your love, kindness, and unwavering support over the years. Your messages and encouragement mean more to us than words can express.

To those with upcoming appointments, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will keep everyone updated as soon as we have more information about when we are permitted to re-enter the building and have a clearer timeline for reopening.

In the meantime, we are working hard to adapt and find ways to move forward. While things may look a little different for a while, our hope is to be back serving our wonderful community as soon as possible.
