The summer I gave myself grace. 🤎
This summer looked a little different for me. There was a lot happening behind the scenes…adjusting to a new chapter, experiencing loss, running a business and trying to remember that I’m a person outside of all of it too.
I didn’t do everything perfectly. I wasn’t everywhere at once. But I kept going.
The salon kept growing, beautiful work kept leaving our chairs, memories were made, and somewhere in between all of it I learned that giving yourself grace doesn’t mean you’ve stopped caring about where you’re going.
Sometimes it just means you’re human.
Here’s to the next season. 🍂
