Today I unlocked the door to my clinic for the very first time.
I won’t lie… it’s exciting, but it’s also intimidating.
Starting over in a new city isn’t easy. Williams Lake has been home for so many years, and opening Sage & Stone Skin Co. in Kamloops means putting myself out there all over again. Building relationships from scratch, earning trust, and hoping people choose me to be part of their skincare journey.
There have been moments where I’ve questioned whether I’m making the right decision. Whether I can build something special here. Whether people will find me.
But I’ve learned that growth rarely happens when we stay comfortable.
This clinic represents years of learning, investing in advanced technology, refining my skills, and dreaming about creating a space where people feel genuinely cared for. A place that focuses on real skin health and results, while still feeling warm, calm, and welcoming.
Today, as I unlocked that door, I felt equal parts excited and terrified.
