If your skin could hit a reset button, this would be it.
One of the reasons I love microneedling is because it works with your body rather than masking concerns temporarily. By creating thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin, SkinPen stimulates your natural collagen and elastin production to help improve the appearance of fine lines, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and overall skin quality.
The results aren’t instant, and that’s actually the beauty of it. Your skin does the work over time, gradually revealing a smoother, firmer, more radiant complexion that still looks completely like you.
If you’ve been feeling frustrated that your skincare routine isn’t delivering the changes you’re hoping for, SkinPen may be the reset your skin has been waiting for.
Curious if you’re a good candidate? I’d be happy to chat and create a treatment plan tailored to your unique skin goals. Click the link in my bio to book a consultation at my Winnipeg clinic.

Men’s aesthetics are changing. And in many ways, that’s a really positive thing.
More men than ever are exploring aesthetic treatments. And it’s not because they want to look like someone else, but because they want to look like the healthiest, most rested version of themselves.
When professionals in the aesthetics industry talk about aging well, Brad Pitt is often mentioned as an example of subtlety. Of course, none of us know what treatments he may or may not have had, and he has never publicly confirmed any aesthetic procedures. But the conversation isn’t really about one celebrity.
It’s about a philosophy.
Natural results. Preserved character. Maintaining the features that make you look like you.
For many of my male patients, the goal isn’t to erase every line or dramatically change their appearance. It’s to soften signs of fatigue, maintain confidence, and age in a way that still feels authentic and masculine.
The best aesthetic work shouldn’t announce itself.
It should simply have people saying, “You look great.”
Curious about aesthetic treatments for men? Let’s have an honest, judgment-free conversation about what a subtle approach could look like for you.

As an injector, I think one of the biggest shifts we’ve seen in recent years is the growing number of men exploring aesthetic treatments. It used to be something people whispered about. Now, more men are openly interested in looking refreshed, well-rested, and like the best version of themselves without looking dramatically different.
When it comes to celebrity examples, many aesthetic experts have speculated that Brad Pitt may have had a little assistance over the years. Of course, none of us can know for certain unless someone chooses to share that information themselves. But if he has, many would agree that the approach has been exceptionally subtle. His appearance has evolved naturally, while still preserving the masculine features and character that make him recognizable.
On the other hand, Ryan Gosling’s changing appearance has sparked more public conversation, with some people commenting that the approach appears different. Again, none of us know the details of anyone else’s treatment journey, and these conversations are based solely on public observation and media speculation.
The takeaway? This isn’t about shaming anyone’s choices. Aesthetic medicine is deeply personal, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach.
For my male patients, the goal is rarely to look “done.” More often, it’s to soften signs of fatigue, maintain confidence, and age in a way that still feels authentic to who they are. The best aesthetic work shouldn’t erase your features. Instead, it should respect them.
If you’ve been curious about what modern aesthetic treatments for men actually look like, I’d be happy to answer your questions in a judgment-free consultation.

POV: You finally stop buying skincare because it’s trending and start using a routine that’s actually built for your skin.
The truth is, the best skincare routine isn’t the one your favourite influencer uses. It’s the one that addresses your unique concerns, skin type, lifestyle, and goals.
As an injector and nurse, I see it all the time: people spending hundreds on products that were never designed for their skin in the first place.
A customized skincare plan doesn’t have to mean more products. It means the right products, in the right order, for the right reasons.
Come see me at my Winnipeg clinic and let’s find the treatments and products that will work best for you ♥️
If there’s one thing I wish everyone understood before investing in injectables, skincare, lasers, or really any aesthetic treatment, it’s this:
Sunscreen first.
Not because it’s trendy. Not because skincare professionals love repeating it. Because biologically, it matters.
UV exposure is one of the primary drivers of premature skin aging. It accelerates collagen breakdown, contributes to pigmentation, inflammation, textural changes, and oxidative stress within the skin.
So when patients spend money stimulating collagen, softening lines, improving skin quality, or investing in medical-grade skincare… but aren’t diligent with sunscreen? We’re often working against an ongoing source of damage.
Think of it this way: you wouldn’t renovate a home while leaving a window open during a rainstorm.
I’m not saying you need perfection. We all miss a reapplication here and there. But consistent SPF use is one of the most impactful things you can do to protect both your skin health and your aesthetic investment.
Before the injectables. Before the expensive serums.
Sunscreen first.

Everyone and their mom seems to be wearing under-eye patches lately… but what’s the science behind them? 👀
As with many skincare trends, the answer lives somewhere between marketing and physiology.
Under-eye patches can absolutely have a place in a skincare routine. They’re often formulated to hydrate, temporarily smooth, depuff, and refresh the delicate under-eye area, particularly when ingredients like hyaluronic acid, caffeine, peptides, and cooling effects come into play.
The important word is *temporary*.
While they may help tired eyes look a little brighter or more awake, they aren’t designed to address deeper concerns like volume loss, hollowness, skin laxity, or structural changes beneath the eyes.
The under-eye area is nuanced, which is why there is rarely a one-size-fits-all solution.
And yes… sometimes a good eye patch before an event, after a poor sleep, or ahead of a busy day is exactly the right choice!
Looking for professional advice for your skin? I’d love to meet you at my Winnipeg clinic.
Treating mature patients is about so much more than “filling lines” or doing one treatment and calling it a day.
As we age, our faces change in multiple ways. We see collagen loss, volume and fat loss, changes in bone structure, skin laxity, texture concerns, and shifts in facial support. That’s why meaningful, natural-looking rejuvenation typically requires a thoughtful, multi-step approach.
For me, it’s never about chasing a quick fix. It’s about taking the time to assess the full picture, understanding your goals, and building a treatment plan that addresses why those changes are happening.
Sometimes that means skin health. Sometimes it means collagen stimulation. Sometimes it means restoring support or volume in a balanced way. Often, it’s a combination.
Good aesthetic care isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it’s rarely one-and-done. It’s personalized, strategic, and designed to help you look refreshed, supported, and like yourself.
POV: you tell people you’re a nurse injector and they thank you for saving lives… and honestly, I like to joke that I save faces. 😏
But in all seriousness, nursing has always come first for me. I’m a Registered Nurse, a soon-to-be Nurse Practitioner, and I bring that clinical background, education, and patient-first mindset into every consultation and treatment.
Aesthetic medicine can absolutely be fun… but it’s also healthcare, anatomy, safety, and trust. And I’m grateful to blend both worlds every single day.
Winnipeg friends - if you’re looking for thoughtful, natural aesthetic care from someone who’s a nurse first and injector second, I’m here for you. 👩🏼⚕️

Being a nurse will always come first for me. That means looking at the full picture, taking the time to truly listen, and making sure you feel informed, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.
Medical aesthetics should never be about pressure, trends, or a one-size-fits-all approach. It should be about thoughtful conversations, honest education, and treatment plans that align with your goals, your comfort level, and what feels right for you.
My role isn’t to tell you what you “need.” It’s to guide, educate, and help you make decisions that feel empowering and authentic to you.
Because good care always starts with trust.
Hit that ♥️ if your mom ever told you to not over-pluck your brows!!!
More times than not, our moms ARE right - and that’s especially the case when they give us important beauty advice like this.
When it comes to your face, it’s usually best to leave things to the professionals. So don’t touch those eyebrows, and make sure you are trusting qualified processional with your medical aesthetics journey.
