Instagram is a highlight reel. And I think sometimes we forget that very few people are showing the real behind the scenes of building a business.

The hard conversations. The disappointments. The things that keep you up at night. The moments that genuinely make you question how much more you can handle.

And I think a lot of us are scared to talk about those parts because somehow it feels like we’re the only ones going through them.

But here’s the truth: it’s really friken hard.

I’ve probably had one of the hardest months of my entire career. And while I’m still navigating a lot of it, I’ve realized something this past week — every difficult chapter I’ve made it through has given me proof that I can make it through the next one too.

I genuinely thought opening a full-scale salon at 9 months pregnant was going to be the hardest thing I’d ever do in business.

Boy, was I wrong 🙈

But I made it through that chapter. And I’ll make it through this one too.

So if business, life, or both are really testing you right now, just know you’re not the only one behind the screen trying to figure it out.

Stay true to yourself. Stay true to your values. Keep your integrity when it would be easier not to.

Hard chapters don’t last forever. But they do have a way of showing you just how much you can handle. 🤎

I had Gaby in for a private training recently, and I genuinely had such a great time getting to know her. She is so down to earth, driven, and at such a young age has already created so much for herself.

One thing I will always appreciate is an artist who continues investing in their education. No matter where you are in your career, there is always more to learn, refine and evolve — and Gabby is such a great example of that.

This is also why I love private trainings so much. Having that extra one-on-one time allows me to really get to know my students, understand where they’re at, and give them the support they actually need.

I’m just really grateful that I get to teach, share what I’ve learned, and meet so many amazing artists along the way. 🥹🤎
