My client came in with a foreign fill that was heavily coated in mascara. Before I could even assess the health of her natural lashes, we had to spend extra time thoroughly cleansing everything.

This week I had the pleasure of meeting one of the sweetest souls. As we chatted, we realized we went to the same high school, came from different parts of the world, both deeply value showing up for our families, and honestly… we’d both choose a cozy night at home over almost anything. ☕🏡

Moments like these remind me that this business has never just been about lashes. It’s about connection, community, and the incredible women who walk through my door and somehow end up feeling like lifelong friends.

Today’s transformation is this beautiful before & after of a soft doll eye classic set; natural, bright, and perfectly suited to enhance her already beautiful eyes. ✨

Not all lash retention issues are caused by the client. 👀

This beauty came to me just one week after having her lashes done elsewhere because they were uncomfortable, shedding excessively, and causing frustration.

After carefully assessing the set, we discovered that many of the extensions weren’t fully attached at the base of the natural lash. Instead, portions of the fan were adhered higher up the lash shaft, leaving the base unsupported. This often leads to poor retention, premature shedding, and an overall uncomfortable experience. 😓

We also found several extensions attached to baby lashes, which can happen when proper isolation and final checks are missed. When lashes stick together, natural lash growth becomes restricted, creating discomfort and tempting clients to pull, separate, or remove lashes themselves which can cause even more damage. 🥲🥺

✨ A quality lash set isn’t just about how it looks on day one.
✨ Proper isolation, attachment, placement, and retention all matter.
✨ Healthy natural lashes should always be the priority.

Today we safely removed the problematic extensions and gave her a fresh set she can feel confident and comfortable wearing. 💕

I almost didn’t go. 🥺

Not because I didn’t want to.

Because anxiety had me thinking of every possible thing that could go wrong. 😓

What if I felt awkward?
What if I didn’t know anyone?
What if I walked in and immediately wanted to leave?

Instead, I bought the ticket, prayed about it, and showed up anyway.

What happened next reminded me why growth requires action.

I met incredible women, made genuine connections, laughed until my cheeks hurt, stepped outside my comfort zone, and somehow even won the giveaway. (Reaction video, BTS, and cute moments on YT) 😂🥹

The greatest gift wasn’t the prize though.

It was the reminder that confidence isn’t the absence of fear, it’s taking the next step anyway.

I thought I was running late. God knew I was being prepared. ✨

Today was a reminder that not every delay is a setback.

I was feeling nervous, watching the clock, trying to finish with my in-studio clients and make it to my travel appointment on time. In my mind, everything had to happen according to my schedule.

But God had a different plan.

The event was delayed, giving me exactly the time I needed to serve each client with excellence, gather myself, and arrive as the best version of me—not rushed, not overwhelmed, not operating from stress.

So today I spoke life over myself:

✨ I am not behind.
✨ I am exactly where I need to be.
✨ What God has for me will not pass me by.
✨ I don’t have to rush what God has already ordained.
✨ His timing is perfect, even when I don’t understand it.

Sometimes the blessing isn’t in getting there first. Sometimes it’s in becoming who you’re meant to be before you arrive.
