First up… please help me CONGRATULATE Madi Nailed By Madi and SheeKu Nail Technician | Shee Ku on becoming our new Assistant Managers! 🖤

They’ve both grown so much with Meraki, and I’m so excited to have them stepping into these roles. I know they’re going to be amazing!

So if you see them around the spa, make sure you give them a little CONGRATS! 🥰

And of course… a HUGE thank you to Breanna 𝓑𝓻𝓮 for all of her years as a manager at Meraki. 🤍 She has been such a big part of our team and has helped me through so many stages of this business.

Now she gets to take on her most important role yet… MAMA! 🥹👶🏼

Her last day before maternity leave is December 24th, so you still have time to see her before she heads off to enjoy all the baby cuddles!

We’re heading into October, which means there are only 12 weeks until Christmas and our December appointments are already filling up. That’s only 3 gel fill’s away 🤯

My sugaring journey started in 2009 when I began working in a salon and learning the art of sugaring hands-on.

In 2012, I took the leap and started my own mobile sugaring business, where I continued building my skills, clientele, and confidence as a business owner.

After years of working independently, I realized how much I missed the salon atmosphere, being around other professionals, and having that sense of community. That’s what brought me to Meraki in 2022 and started the next chapter of my sugaring career.

Becoming a SugarSMAC Endorsed Educator felt like the natural next step. I wanted to share the knowledge and experience I’ve gained over the years and help others feel confident in their own skills.

My goal is for every student to leave training feeling comfortable with their technique, knowledgeable about client safety, and supported as they begin their own sugaring journey.

I keep my classes small so students receive hands-on guidance, individual feedback, and continued support even after training is complete.

Something new is happening at Meraki 🤍

If you know Meraki, you probably already know Jaime! She is our Sugarist here at Meraki, and has been sugaring for 17 years.

I’m SO excited and honestly really proud of her as she takes this next step and becomes a Sugar Smac Instructor! 🥰

We’ve decided to make this part of Meraki so welcome — Meraki Beauty Sugar Studio + Sugar Academy.

Jaime will continue doing what she loves and seeing her sugaring clients, but she’ll also be bringing all of that experience and knowledge into the spa to teach future sugarists.

I’m really excited for the students who get to learn from her. 17 years of experience is a lot of knowledge to share, and I know she’s going to be amazing at teaching it. 🤍

And who knows… maybe some of the talented sugarists she teaches will eventually find their way to Meraki too! 😉
