I’m a Registered Massage Therapist in Winnipeg and I specialize in Intraoral TMJ massage.

Headaches. Jaw pain. Waking up clenched. Sound familiar? 👇

Your jaw muscles — especially the ones deep inside your cheek — often hold more tension than people realize. Intraoral TMJ massage is a specialized technique that works on these muscles from inside the mouth, reaching areas external massage can’t.

It’s not magic, and it’s not a cure-all — but for many people dealing with jaw tension, clenching, and tension headaches, it can be a genuinely supportive part of their care routine.

Yes, I’m open on Terry Fox Day (Monday, August 3)! 🙌 Long weekend soreness from hiking, gardening, or just too much relaxing? Book your massage before the week gets busy again. Link in bio 💆‍♀️

Plot twist: it’s already mid-July. 👀

That means your insurance benefits have about 6 months left before they reset — and yes, “I’ll just do a bunch in December” is a trap. Regular massage (like, once a month) does way more for your body and mind than the same number crammed into a few weeks.

Also — everyone has this idea in December. Clinics get packed and your favorite time slots vanish.

Be the person who booked ahead, not the person doing 6 massages in 5 weeks. 😅

💯

The end of the year and the holiday season can be stressful. Massage encourages deep relaxation by easing muscle tension and helping to reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression.

If you ever needed an excuse to get a massage, this is your sign (but you never need an excuse to go). You can learn more about the benefits of massage therapy here: https://mtam.mb.ca/about-massage-therapy/benefits-of-massage-therapy-2/
