Working for yourself can sometimes blur the line between this is my job and this is just something I do.

So I started getting ready for my workdays. Putting on an outfit I feel good in, doing my hair, and actually showing up like I’m going to work, even if I’m working for myself.

It seems small, but it’s helped shift my mindset from treating what I do like a “hobby” to treating it like the career and business I’m building.

Sometimes showing up for your business starts with showing up for yourself. 🤍

As much as I’d love to say I’m managing it all perfectly, the truth is I’m still finding my rhythm after some really huge life moments.

The last few months have changed my life in some of the best ways, but they’ve also come with some really difficult moments and loss. It’s been a season of happiness, growth, change, grief, and everything in between. 🤍

Buying our first home didn’t start when we began looking at houses… it started YEARS before.

As a self-employed beauty biz owner, I knew I had to be intentional with my finances, from understanding how I’d qualify for a mortgage, to saving consistently, separating my business + personal money and actually paying myself first.

Slowly finding my way back to myself. 🤍

I’m so grateful for a career that allowed me to fully step back when life asked me to, without having to sacrifice everything I’ve built.

And coming back has reminded me how much I genuinely LOVE what I do🫶🏻

My brow business has always been a creative outlet for me. From creating transformations behind the chair, filming content, teaching my techniques and finding new ways to share my artistry — this career has given me so much more than I ever imagined when I first started🪄

I forgot how good it feels to create simply because I love creating.

So while I’m still taking things day by day, I’m excited to pour back into my clients, my students, my creativity and this little world I’ve built over the last 9 years. 🥹🤍

Little by little, the spark is coming back✨
