Saturdays have become my exploring days.
Today, I walked over 10kms /17k steps to go find some hidden gems in Zürich.

First, in typical Italian style, i burnt my lip whilst tasting my cooking!! Ung.

Then I went to Schlieren to find Kloster Fahr, which is part of Unterengstringen (town on the Limmat River).

Maintained by Sisters, there's a cute collage of photos of them bike riding, by the lake boating, gardening, and chillaxing.

The Kloster is beautiful inside... though a group of men were practising the Ave Maria for a 4pm wedding, and the gardens outside have a beautifully kept cemetery for Sisters passed with yellow roses at each grave.

I discovered the Belltree Tower, which has been converted into an events hall.

Before tramming it back to Zürich to find another gem in Wiedikon. Can't believe how many times we've been in the area and had no clue what was behind the park and lush inner city trees!

For the dad's being celebrated tomorrow (on Monaco GP & Roland Garros finales Sunday), Happy Fathers Day to you all.

Took the afternoon to chillax by the water of Lake Zürich at Richterswil, without realising how frequent the ferries & paddle steamers were going to stop.
